Yeah, I didnt get that either. He was gone for at least two years before he met up with Freeza again. One year to fly to earth, plus however long it took to get to Namek, and the time he was on Namek before Freeza arrived. Then there was the 3 or so years he was on earth or in space before Trunks arrived. You wouldve thought at least King Cold wouldve noticed he was missing.
