Another question about UK DBZ

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

I believe that Cook also does Super Buu as well.

... but from what I've heard/seen, they're directed like ASS. I know that Brian Drummond and Scott McNeil are leaps and bounds better than what I've heard in the later Ocean DBZ dubs.

And for the record, I thought Dameon Clarke was the shiznit.
The problem with the UK/Canadian Ocean dub was that the performances of the actors were very inconsistant.

For an example, someone who doesn't have ready access to the dub (i.e. anyone outside the UK or Canada), who sees three or four clips random clips might see in one clip where Drummond isn't sounding not too good, or in some cases pretty awful, and then in another, he's totally awesome, better than anything he did in season's one or two and rival his Japanses counterpart.

As for McNeil, I don't think it's so much the directing per se in this case, but more that he's using a different voice (which was probably the directors decsion or maybe's Mcneil's himself), he's using the voice he was using for Wolverine in X-Men Evolution, a more human voice, rather than one he used in Season's one and two, which had more of a growl to it. Although I loved the former, I didn't mind the latter,

I do remember Clark in "The History of Trunks" though, and I thought he did a great job making his voice sound like Schemmel's Goku, while still different. I wonder if he'd have been a better Goku than Schemmel, come to that...
Yeah Dameon Clark did do all the forms for Cell, while his first form wasn't bad, I hated his second and Perfect forms. Apart from his screams which sounded like his was gargling, Ocean's Perfect Cell was perfect IMO.

I do agree that Clark was excellent as Mirai Gohan, and I too also wonder if he would have done a better job than Schemmel as Goku, my gut feeling says he would have. Clark's Paragus in movie 8 was also very good.

I still say David Kaye would have been a perfect Cell(no pun intended), for the Canadian/U.K. dub.

B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."
