What are the chances that King Sadala is a woman, and she will marry...

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

In-universe nobody cares if Tenshinan is a virgin or is in a relationship with Chaozu, and nobody cared about whether or not Kale and Caulifla were lovers or just friends. And nobody ever asked Freeza or Puar what their gender is.

It’s not an high school drama show or the kind of series that ever touched upon this topics, so I don’t get why it suddenly should.
Kind of you to imply the only reason queer characters can ever be in a work is to see them suffer and not simply exist and do cool things.

What's the point of introducing cis and cishet characters?

You missed my point.

They make a deal out of a character’s sexuality/gender only when it has something to do with the plot. Or for gags. That’s how it always was in DB.

For all we know Chaozu could be transgender but they will never tell us because it wouldn’t affect the plot in any way. That’s the kind of useless information Toriyama gives in random interviews.

This is a simple series for all ages about martial artists fighting. Who the heck cares about the characters’ sexuality?

Hey now, maybe it's like Star Trek where officers are reffered to as sir regardless of gender or lack thereof.
Sir wasn't originally a gender thing. It was a title for anyone who was a knight.

Oh ok. It looks like you're right. I always thought sir came from sire and while it does the "father of" connotation of the word only dates from the latter 13th century and sire as verb doesn't appear until the 17th century. A sire as "local lord" dates from the late 12th century-early 13th. The exact opposite of what I thought it'd be.
My opinions suck. You should probably mute me to spare yourself having to see them.

"If someone gets Star Wars wrong? Death threats. If a kid learns that a shitty song they liked when they were 12 was a cover of a song made in 1984? Death threats. If someone makes a Sonic game that's too dark and edgy? Death threats. If someone makes a Sonic game that isn't too dark and edgy? Death threats. If someone criticizes Naruto? Lots of death threats. Sexualizes pokemon? UNIVERSAL PRAISE." - Plague of Gripes

Just off the top of my head

Mothra in the Legendary monsterverse was called a King 8n Kong Skull island and this was later changed to Alpha.

Mukuro is also called a demon king several times in Yu yu hakusho. It depends on the author of the fiction. A female monarch is usually a Queen unless they themselves stress otherwise in fiction.

There will never be a female king irl their could easily be one in fiction.
