I doubt they'd try and do wide screen anyways. They probably just said that to make dumb people want it more.

You know how Funimation zoomed in on the video in the previous releases? I'll bet this is what they're reffering to when they mention new never before seen footage. They simply won't zoom this time.

You've read, like, none of the posts in regards to this issue have you? They are doing widescreen, regardless of whether it is a good idea or not.

After watching Elfen Lied in anamorphic widescreen, I say without a doubt that is the way to go.

Yeah, but Elfen Lied was filmed & intended to be in anamorphic widescreen.

DBZ wasn't.
