They would've heard about Freeza destroying their home planet, and then they would've gathered on Namek and helped Vegeta and Goku kill Freeza.
Or, since about 25 years goes by between the destruction of Planet Vegeta and Raditz arriving on Earth, all offworld Saiyans with scouters besides Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta were summoned to Freeza's ship and killed.

Like cattle, eh? Even though movies aren't seen as canon, it seems that the saiyans that survived had a grudge with Freeza knowing what Freeza did or just wanted more power. I really doubt they would come back if called. The question I have is if there were any remaining saiyans, couldn't Freeza's ship track them down? I remember something about the Bardock special when Freeza knew Bardock's ship passed or something (I forget exactly what was said, sorry).

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

If you ask me how the Saiyan's fell for the ruse of the "metorite" was pretty stupid in the first place really.

Vegeta: Uh, what happened to our planet?
Freeza:Meteor.
Vegeta: You sure about that?
Freeza: What you calling me a liar?

It all depends if you want to count the movies in this discussion.which I don't think many do but thats besides the point. What ever way you go someone saw Goku's ship and had a chance to destroy it, but ended up sparing it.

Because every Saiyajin survivor has his or her scouter tuned into the same channel (and still functioning no less), has a working space pod and directions to Namek... right.
