That's one of the things I've always wanted to see, as well: a series or OVA of some sort about Super Saiyan generations of the past or future.
The problem is, it wouldn't be as popular without Goku and company involved.
True though they could at least experiment with the idea, like to a movie or short OVA or whatever to see the reaction, however if they did do this I'd say they shouldn't announce it, and instead keep quiet about it till its done that way they won't get people sending them death threats or whatever making them change their minds about anything.
Also as far as Goku specificly goes, he can still be around in the future as long as the dragonballs still exist, as he's apparently one with them. I mean a lot of people seemed to be confused as to what exactly happend to Goku at the end of GT (and this is even talked about in one of the podcasts) but I think the easiest way of explaining it is that he became whatever Shen Long is, then again he's able to appear in the outside world without the the DBs being activated, so that might not be the best example, although I always thought it be funny if Goku became Earth's gaurdian/watcher, similar to Kame.

Wasn't Toriyama involved in GT? If you mean writing for a series, then yeah.

Yeah he did the character designs, and the idea of Goku becoming a kid again was his idea as well, although its unknown if it was excecuted the way AT wanted/envisioned.

If I was going to ask for new content I'd ask for more movies. Just a simple movie reminding me of the legacy of Dragon Ball and Z which was screwed up by GT.

^With the movies though if they do ever do more they defenitly need to make them fit the storyline or do them the way they did the TV Specials, unless they're going to do retellings.
I mean a lot of the movies are great but you can't help but notice that 9 and 13 rank really high among fans, and they're movies that TOEI "tried" to have fit within time gaps the series had, ie the stuff that "fits" seems to go over a lot better then the stuff that are flat out contradictions (aside from Broly) so if they did do new movies I would like them to handle them in the way they did with the 9, 13, and the TV Specials.

Toriyama can call GT canon with the flick of his wrist...

Heh, threads like this make me wonder if Toriyama planned out the series exactly like it is now (plotholes, inconsistencies, video games, and all) just to watch the mayhem on forums and such.

It wouldn't suprise me given he's said he liked a number of things about it, also saying they (TOEI) came up with things he would've never thought of that he ended up really liking.

A new movie with some digital animation would be nice, or a GT redo. I guess I could go either way with it, just no new series.

I think that I made the mistake of getting ahead of myself here.. the title of the thread is asking the fans who watch it often if they want new content. Speaking for myself, I haven't seen every single episode the trilogy has to offer. Not even close. So if there is anyone who has watched
every episode of Dragonball, Z, GT, and all of the movies and specials, I'd really,
really like to hear what you have to say in this thread.

(Just thinking about all of the content of the series makes my head hurt..

)

If I try to think of new content, it will undoubtedly turn into a fanfic idea, and I've started too many (varying in quality) fanfics that will never be finished... so there you go.
As a series, it seems complete, but there are a lot of things that would just be awesome to see more of (A lot of backstory on a lot of people, and some crazy what-ifs). These could be like TV specials or something, but I find it hard to believe that anything like say, the history with Roshi/Gohan/Korin (I get so confused on how to spell his name! :'( ), Etc...
I wonder why none of the Z warriors never tried opening a dojo or something. Did Tenshinhan and Chaozu just live off of Chaozu's good cooking? Come to think of it, some short little "What they do in their spare time" skits might be cool, but could be dangerous and cheap too... Eh, whatever works...
... *Gives Chaozu a cooking show*

Yeah, now that I think about it - some "spin-offs" as suggested above could be really cool...
How about a series just focused on Tien or Piccolo? It could show them (at whatever time period, doesn't have to fit perfectly) traveling, training, meeting new people, fighting or whatever - would be cool.
Seeing a series that showed Roshi and Son Gohan training together, fighting together and revealing their backstories (as well as the Ox King's?!) would be cool too as mentioned...
Hell, I think I would love a series that just shows Krillin going out on dates, getting rejected, and looking for love. That alone would be some good/funny shit right there.
I don't necessarily want to see more adventures of Goku or them all fighting against the biggest bad guy out there to save the world/universe though. That's all been played out to death at this stage.

I think a lot of people seem to want "The Untold Stroies of Dragon Ball" ie stuff that fills in all the gaps, which there are a lot of, though I wonder what would even be the best format for that, because if it were a series it jump around too much, and if it were TV Specials or Movies they wouldn't have enough time to fully explore things.

I would love a new series if it turned out like Dragonball or Dragonball Z. If it was something made up by someone other that AT I would still like it becasue it's Dragonball but it probably wouldn't be as good.
Cuz you're an ocean, you're an ocean, settle down settle down what's the commotion?

Spinoffs like those I could see as either Cartoons with different segments (the 10-minute episode thing), or as like OVAs with a collection of episodes in each installment. If it actually happened it'd probably only be planned for one, but be open for more if the reaction is good.

It would be nice to see something new. But they shouldn't leave Goku and the others out. And they should bring back the "old" characters, Vegeta in GT reminds me of the village people and that's quite disturbing sometimes...

So..it's safe to say Neko Majin Z is a god-send?

It has this cat-thing,er, majin going super saiyan 2! Goku and his family being afraid of mice, Vegeta appearances, the kin of Freeza. I would type some more but it could turn ugly..

Neko Majin Z should be in my DBZ Game.
Z is like Majin Buu, only in cat form... but he's not chewy like Buu...
Ah! When everyone got wished back after the destruction of the Earth, they all absorbed Blue's fear of mice! <-- stupidest excuse ever...

.
But an NMZ OVA could be in a box set with a spinoffs OVA and they'd probably do better. And the price would be higher, so it might be a better strategy!
