Using Funimation's dub names exclusively (not including names like Tien or Krillin, but Hercule and Majuub)

Yes I enjoy Freeza and his family greatly, they're a great characters. Although I enjoy other characters (Cell, Janemba, Tullece, Trunks, Gohan, Etc.)

And just so ya' know, I'm 23! I think this is that age area where you're either having a mid-life crisis with anime, fully embraced with anime but still living in your parents' basement eating chettos and corn-chips, or actually on your way with life with a spot still in your heart for anime. Okay...getting off topic. Things fans do that piss me off...well, spelling like they're still in 4th grade or mentally retarded, for one. Mainly considering this is a message board for mature acting and well minded individuals whom all have their own personal tastes in specific moments in the series, though can logically discuss it like rational people.

One thing I do really hate, people judging the series without giving it a true chance by saying "Oh, no character development, no depth, it's all useless energy blasts and bullshit" when clearly they've seen maybe two episodes of the series, if even that. These types of people, who are mainly around conventions bashing DBZ for such "reasons" and because they think it's outlasted its welcome, should really grow up and look at the sales in video games and DVDs both here and in Japan. It's those types of people that piss me off. The DragonBall anime is the reason anime itself has become such a big deal in North America in today's era, it's paved the way so that big hits like Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, and many others can get the attention and chances they receive and deserve.

Now, my rambling ends.

Bassically what I hate is:

-People who hate/bash dubs just for the sake of hating them.
-People who use the "Seru"/"Bejita" crap
-When you type the word Spirit Bomb & then the next poster types Genki Dama like "Genki Dama"
-The Goku Vs.Superman debate....seriously, it's getting old.
-Dubbies who trash the Japanese Version before they even watch it.

I acctually love Fanfics, they're fun, ESSPECIALLY the Romantic Genre.

People who think that this is some fantasy world where the English voices should sound exactly like their Japanese counterparts, not understanding that they are two completely different languages and cultures.

People from 1999 who whined all day about the dub, not understanding that their own fansubs weren't going anywhere and were still available to them.

People who make lists of the differences between the English and Japanese versions with asinine commentary everywhere instead of just making it straight-up nonbiased information.

People who think that digitized music played by one person on a keyboard is somehow better than existing music which was actually written to match the mood of particular scenes and used actual instruments.

Well I think some DBZ fanfiction is great but sadly 60 percent of it is badly written, not well thought up and are entirely slug fests or a fan putting themselves into a romantic entaglement with one of the Dragonball characters.

I also don't see the problem with power level lists or charts after the Trunks arc as long as they make sense and the creators do not act like it is written in stone.

Here are three of my hang ups:

1. Fans insisting that there is either new material from Toryiama sensei himself or missing secret material that they just happened to find.

2. Fans with bad grammar or spelling skills (and I don't mean your average typo).

3. People who act high and mighty because they happen to like the original manga and/or anime only.
