I have an old VHS of the Kidmark DB dub called "The Legend of Goku". Are they the same? My VHS has Episodes 11-13.SonGokuGT wrote:Check the image... The first DVD case is "The Saga of Goku" in all its unreleased glory!

"The Saga of Goku" DVD set contains the first thirteen episodes of DB on two discs. I'm not sure if it's the same dub as the other sets (I think it was different to the Funi dub of the later ones, but I'm not sure; haven't watched it in a while, but I'm pretty sure it sounded different), but it also has the Japanese audio w/ subtitles.Big Momma wrote:I have an old VHS of the Kidmark DB dub called "The Legend of Goku". It also has the "Curse of the Blood Rubies" movie, which only has the English soundtrack.
Oh, Thanks

I've just checked disc 1 and the same problem exists. You would think that it would have been corrected. Ultimately it's not too big of a deal.Kirben wrote:Do you actually confirm the subtitle tracks are different for dubtitles and literal subtitles on disc 1 (not disc 2) of the 'Fortune Teller Baba' box set? by displaying both subtitle tracks at once?Kula wrote:According to forum member Kirben, the second disc of the 'Fortune Teller Baba' box set was missing most of the Dub-titles and literal subtitles for 1 episode. I checked the disc in this set and both sets of subtitles are present for all the episodes.
The problem was not the second subtitle track been missing, but both subtitle tracks having the same content.
I should note that some people who bought the 'Dragon Ball: Piccolo Jr. Saga Set Part 2' recieved two copies of the first disc or even two copies of a 'King Piccolo' disc. This is a much bigger mistake and I hope that it will be corrected for the next collection.
That one doesn't seem to be getting the best reviews. You got a link to a more expensive, yet really high quality region-free players for NTSC and PAL?nathantheguitarist wrote:LINK for the cheapest region-free player out thereStrongbad456 wrote:Too bad that doesn't work for me. I tried yesterday and that didn't work. I searched the net and found that I'd need a universal remote or something. I'm just gonna buy a region free dvd player. Anyway, I hope these boxsets will be released in America someday.

Uhmm... just search amazon yourself O_o
I don't know about other dvd players, because I personally don't have any other region free dvd players.
But I can tell you that any problems the people in the reviews for the CyberHome player had, I haven't had any of those problems. But if you must look, <-Click!
