Well even as a kid I noticed the voice changes.
I remember the Super Buu Falcouner theme so definitely some of the episodes with Super Buu that aired on TV back then were the Funi version.

Literally the entire Fusion Saga aired with Funi's dub the first few times CNX aired it. Basically everything from Grey Buu appearing, to Goku and Vegeta fighting Super Buu inside his own head.Kid Buu wrote: Sat Aug 02, 2025 6:22 pm I remember the Super Buu Falcouner theme so definitely some of the episodes with Super Buu that aired on TV back then were the Funi version.
The Faulconer Super Buu theme stayed in my head for years too funnily enough. I was always a big fan of Faulconer's score in the earlier episodes, so suddenly getting to hear it at a later point in the story was both mindblowing and awesome to me. The score had evolved a lot since the Trunks Saga, and I enjoyed a lot of the newer tracks.
As soon as I was old enough to order stuff online, I ordered the Fusion Saga singles off ebay, just so I could experience those episodes the way they originally aired on CNX. The discs turned out to be bootlegs, but they worked well enough.

The Falcouner Super Buu theme always reminded me of the Sonic 3 boss theme.90sDBZ wrote: Sun Aug 03, 2025 5:44 pmLiterally the entire Fusion Saga aired with Funi's dub the first few times CNX aired it. Funny you say that about the DVDs, I had a similar story but with the Kid Buu Saga singles. Interestingly while playing around with it I changed it to Japanese audio and it blew my mind. Felt like watching a brand new show.
