I agree and I think it's unlikely it would happen again without Toriyama. The Toei and Toyotaro original antagonists were based on an existing antagonist like the old DBZ movies. Copy Vegeta was an alien parasite possessing Vegeta. Moro was an ancient demon who fought the Kaioshin then imprisoned for millions of years and absorbed a cyborg to powerup and gain a more human face. Granolah was the last member of an alien race almost wiped out by the Saiyans coming back for revenge. I think some of the ToP contestants were references to old villains like ones having a similar designs to Hatchiyak and Rildo. I think it's more likely they would reuse the concept of Janemba for an original character than reboot him with the same name.
