I would like to see the Yuu Yuu Hakusho cast getting fed up with Gokuu's shit lol. I'm curious how Sensui would feel about the antagonists in Dragon Ball, because I feel like he would be mostly against them, but still try to use an alliance with them as a means of accomplishing his goals.

Raizen would love the Saiyans lol.

How would cross overs with Yu-Gi-Oh or Beyblade even work storywise? I can see crossover merch being a thing, but not as an actual story. I feel like DB is too different from toy driven shows.

Read the Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission manga or watch a special episode from the anime, I don't remember the title. They pretty much give a general idea of how that crossover could work. Also, there's a mod for Dragon Ball FighterZ (and I guess Jump Force too) which gives an idea of how Dragon Ball and Yu-Gi-Oh! can work in games.

If it weren't for those evidences, I would concur that Dragon Ball and Yu-Gi-Oh! don't blend together, but they show that it can work.

As for "story-wise", I don't think we watch or care about crossovers for story, we just want to see the characters interacting and/or fighting each other. So no need to mind that. Though I'm sure anyone can come up with something. It's not like the Dragon Ball and One Piece crossovers are known for their stories, the interesting thing about them is to see the characters' interactions.

Ross is awful, but Chandler definitely needs to die for being a transphobic loser to his mom.

Don't worry about the fighting at first and just focus on what kind of character conflicts will be born from their clashing personalities and needs. Dragon Ball isn't fighting, Yuugi-Ou isn't card games, Beyblade isn't BeyBattles, those three are simply tools to tell a story. Stories can exist without fist fighting, gun shooting, sword fighting or whatever, creators include them for fun.

So, ask yourself: what's a good character conflict that allows characters from one series to interact with, clash with and grow from interacting with characters from another series?

I haven't touched either series in decades, so I wouldn't know lol

Despite attempts to group Dragon Ball with Naruto and One Piece, I think Yu Yu Hakusho is the closest thing to being a "sister" series to it.
They are contemporaries, so there is a lot of shared DNA from that point in time. At least in my opinion.

The characters can borrow cards or buy their own cards and then build a deck for Yu-Gi-Oh. As for Beyblade, the bit beast themselves has power, In Beyblade V Force Tyson was able to run at superhuman speed due to his bit beast. Basically it would be Z fighters normal Beyblade Vs the beybladers with bit beast.


For Yu-Gi-Oh there are dungeon and dice, it isn't just card games online. There are other games that I can't remember. There are shadow games that are random.

If there is a crossover between Major (baseball anime) and Dragon Ball, then this is an episode that Yamcha would shine. I suppose Gohan would do good, since he has experience in baseball.

Most DB fans are also sonic fans anyways (myself included) so they better consider that seriously.

The great thing about crossover is that there are all kind of anime, so the type of crossover that people can imagine is endless. I can imagine there are millions of anime. The best part is just because Dragon Ball is a fighting anime, it doesn't mean that the crossover is limited to fighting only.

This is why I don't put restrictions to this type of topics, since I don't want to limit what a member can imagine.
