But Nam's skin color? I really doubt it.

I don't know if it is anything to go by but I also had to check my manga and since I own the 34 Deluxe Japanese versions some of the pages are coloured in.
So in the fight between Goku and Namu he seems to be a lighter shade of than is represented in the Manga off course there are more colours that seem to be a bit different in this Manga then the Anime, but I will see if I can post a scan later if that is alright.
