If late era SSJ Goku looks like that in game, I'll thoroughly piss myself with piss of joy.

On the other hand, the exact opposite for SSJ2 Goku, seeing as his bangs and hair are done wrong in the official artwork (he looks like an SSJ with a lightning aura).

And also, there's more stuff up about the Shenron keychain.

The fact we now have three different adult Gokus has only one disapointment for me. Not being able to go Super Saiya-jin 3 in the early story mode. Still I'll make up for that in Vs mode.

Every time there's a new scan or a major update in Japanese, a guy on the gamefaqs forums does a very fine job of translating it for everyone. I'll repost it here every time he gives us the goods.

Trunks - Sword
SSJ Trunks - Sword

The only interesting note on the character section is that they say when Goku fought Paikuhan(Pikkon) during the Other World Tournament, he fought him in the SSJ2 Form.

I just liked seeing the long haired siblings face off. I also loved seeing Super Saiya-Jin Scouter Vegeta in Budokai 3.

But yes I do like that the fights can be more accurate now.

Just the fact that we're getting the exact same milked-to-death story mode we've had in 6 previous Ps2 games is enough to make me wanna slam my head into a desk. I mean c'mon SPIKE, is it really so hard to take a page out of the Shin Budokai games and do something original? Show us a damn imagination, be creative! I mean, do some of us really wanna do Goku Vs. Raditz, etc., etc., etc. for the 7th time? And so what if I'm complaining about this aspect of the game, I got a damn right to! If anyone wants to join me and EX/Mike in pulling our hair out, fill out the proper forms and get in line. We love this story with all our hearts SPIKE, but for the love of God, even this epic classic gets old when we've played it and seen it infinitely; learn to be original!

Amen to that, Early Goku is a waste of space and so is Mid Goku's UB, go to 'ell with an Angry Kamehameha as a UB. Some nice art work indeed. Now we seen all three Goku version and most of the story, I think they will show DB character next right?

Either that or the movie characters most likely. I'm sure they'll be holding off the GT stuff for last.

This is my opinion to so many Goku's in the game: Fan service.

There's people that will complain that there's too many Goku. Then there's those who if there were only a couple of Goku in a game would complain about the lack of Goku.

Someone would want their Goku during the Snake Way/King Kai era.
Someone would want their Goku during the Pikkon episodes.
Someone would want SSJ3 Goku during movie 13.
Somsone would want movie 1-13 (pick one) Goku.
Someone would want naked bath-can SSJ Goku.

And so on.

Who the hell says it's worthless?! It ain't to me! Spiltting them up ain't a waste of space cause if any other characters were'nt planned to be put in in the first place then thats how it gonna be!

Why do people insist on complaining when they should "know" by now that the sparking series is about being very specific!

Anyone that ain't in at this point (Sparking Neo) really do'nt matter except for a few exceptions like the GT cast.

I could careless about the added characters at this point (we have a crazy amont like never before already so get over it) it's about the games show-simulated gameplay as far as I'm concerned.

You know, I would usually love to make a comeback about what I think about the entire "multiple versions of the same character" thing, but it was my skirmish with you about it that got the last thread locked, so I say let's try to bitch about something that we won't fight over.

Q: Will there be a mini game mode?

NB: Yes. There will be some mini-games.

DC: There are a few mini games planned in the game, not just the loading screens this time! They may even unlock some special stuff…

Q: Will there be Japanese music in the game?

NB: Yes. But not songs. Would you guys like Japanese song inside?

DC: Yes we have the Japanese songs in the game but they are instrumentals only, no voice.

Q: What is this Dramatic Z Engine? Is it about cut scenes? Will we have more? Or is it something about battles?

NB: The story mode has been changed dramatically. We’ll explain this later

DC: This has to do with the cut scenes. Instead of just playing every story through just like the show, we are allowing the players to change the outcome for a new story and new scenes. Of course if you like to see these battles just as they are on the show you can do that as well!

Q: Is there a possibility that the number of characters would increase above 150 in the time that's left for the game to be finished? Or is it decided already?

NB: Yes. There always is a possibility to produce something good for fans!

DC: We think we have a pretty full character roster but if there is space to pack more in, we will!

Q: What is your point of view on the Dragon Ball series? Should a game developer appreciate the series on which he works for his game?

NB: Dragon Ball Z is the gold master of all anime in the world. We’ve grew up watching Dragon Ball Z when we were young. Now we can be a part of the DBZ game development team, and we really appreciate being a part of the team. The last year I traveled to Italy, and in the very small town in Italy there was a TV game shop. And at the very front of the casher desk, Tenkaichi softs were placed. Kids in Italy love to play Dragon Ball Z games. We really appreciate the opportunity to produce TV game with such famous anime series, and on the other hand we always need to put ourselves in hard work because so many fans are waiting for our game all over the world.

DC: Dragon Ball set the bar in action anime, I love it and feel very proud working with something so special. Every other action anime I see, I am comparing it to DBZ. I feel that even after all these years there is nothing more amazing than some of the fights in DBZ. As for whether or not a dev team needs to appreciate the series? - Of Course! Everyone who works on these titles are definitely diehard DBZ fans.

I found this on Atari forums. Looks like we might be getting japanese music this time.

So we have something like Super Survivor but no voices? That sounds weird, but I like the battles affect cut scenes thing, sound intriguing. Nice find, majinrod153!

So if I was playing Goku and Piccolo versus Radditz and Goku lives then that will change the story maybe? Like Goku trains Gohan instead of Piccolo?

I don't understand what they mean with this feature.
