Apart from the smoldering remains of the island where Seru fought Torunkusu and Bejiita, there were no islands in the immediate vicinity (as Seru had systematically destroyed every other one in order to force Juuhachigou out of hiding). So once they were wished back to life, that's the only island they could have safely reached.

Cell. Trunks. Vegeta. Not to be rude or anything, but spelling the names EXACTLY the way the japanese do is just stupid. But yeah, you have a point. If people were in fact revived in the ocean where their island once was, they'd drown again before reaching land.Darkprince410 wrote:Apart from the smoldering remains of the island where Seru fought Torunkusu and Bejiita, there were no islands in the immediate vicinity (as Seru had systematically destroyed every other one in order to force Juuhachigou out of hiding). If you go there, the Earth has also moved since they've died... So...Humpski wrote:There's also the incident where they wished back the people of a city that Cell (I think it was Cell) wiped off the map. Since there was no land left in that spot they would have all got wished back and appeared in the Ocean, only to drown and die again.

As I pointed out before, it's a habit. My first two years of Dragonball related material were bootlegs of the anime with strictly romanized translations. It's come to the point now that when I go to type out a character's name, it doesn't come naturally to use names like "Vegeta" or "Cell" or things like that, but to use "Bejiita", "Seru", etc. It's like trying to play golf with a certain way of gripping the club for years, then try to use a completely different grip because someone pointed out that they don't like the way you used to. It's not something I do intentionally to make myself sound superior or anything.Vegard Aune wrote:Cell. Trunks. Vegeta.
