Thanks.
Goku: You were afraid of getting caught in the planet's explosion. You blew it. Of course, that saved me...
Freeza: Saved? Heh Heh Heh... That's what you think...
Freeza: You escaped an instantaneous explosion of the planet.. But I detonated the core.. Do you know what that means? Within five minutes, the core will explode on its own... And Namek will be dust...
How strong do you think Freeza could have become?

Yeah, but Koola still got cocky and lost - though you have to give him credit for at least admitting his faults as he died and how he repeated his brother's mistakes. Freeza was a fool to the end.

I'll confirm it later tonight, but as far as I know the Saibaimen and Raditz were nearly equal in power even in the comic.
As for Freeza, there's not much I can say that hasn't been said. I bet if he were to have turned out joining Goku like many bad guys did he could've easily kept up with them if he learned how to sense Ki.

From Viz's Translation-Kendamu wrote:I'll confirm it later tonight, but as far as I know the Saibaimen and Raditz were nearly equal in power even in the comic.
*Just after Tenshinhan beats the first Saibaman with ease.
Nappa: It's impossible...! The Cultivars' (*Saibamen) power is over 1200...! Equal to Raditz, every one of them...!

Thank you.Kendamu wrote:
I can't translate it exactly, but it looks as if they're saying that the Saibaimen were equal to Raditz.

Here's a translation....
Nappa: I'm...impossible...!! The combat power of Saibai Man is 1200...!! With only power, he could square off with Raditz...!!
Vegeta: Going by simple calculation, his combat power should exceed that.
Nappa: But...! There is no such data!!

The only problem with their translation is that it states that the Saibaimen and Raditz have a battle power of over 1,200, when the Japanese text simply said 1,200 even.MisterFlashdude wrote:Well, the number 1200 is at least obvious. And we know Raditz wasn't much higher than that. I think it's safe to say Viz had an accurate translation in this instance.Kendamu wrote:I can't translate it exactly, but it looks as if they're saying that the Saibaimen were equal to Raditz.

Meh, so they added a little dramatic flourish... It's not like they changed the number from 8000 to 9000... er... make that, OVER 9000!Chibi Mystic Gohan wrote:The only problem with their translation is that it states that the Saibaimen and Raditz have a battle power of over 1,200, when the Japanese text simply said 1,200 even.
(I had to... I'm.. sorry...)
It still gets the same idea across. Raditz and the Saibaman all had power at or around 1200.
