Yeah, cut it out already. For the record, no, I don't have an iris fetish, I have an "I like to see everything the original animators made, especially when Funimation promises us 'Uncut' footage" fetish.

Anyway--
I have a second image request, and this one has nothing to do with the orange bricks, or even the anime, in general. First off, let me give you a little backstory on this image request.

As you can see, this image I have just shown you, is a very popular, and very recognizable image of Super Saiya-jin Son Goku. Everyone knows this image. HOWEVER. I once saw an image; and I do believe, yes, (I'm 99.999% certain that it is Offical art, not some fan-made thing).. it shows base Goku in that exact same pose and outfit, and his aura is black. By "base Goku" I of course mean "regular Goku" with black hair. I know I remember seeing this.

It was at a VERY old Geocites website back in the mid 90s, the site was called DRAGONBALL/Z/GT I know that is a very generic site name for today.. but back then it was somewhat unique, and anyway.. I just know I remember seeing it. I've searched for many years trying to find it again, but never have.

Please, if anyone has it, I must glimpse it one last time. It could possibly be a manufactured memory of mine? Maybe even a decent computer edit (although I think photoshop hadn't been invented back then

) I just.. remember seeing it, and I want to find it again really badly.

I'm sorry, slightly off topic, but FUNimation promised uncut footage in terms of uncensored, but what they really did was LITERALLY cut the footage lol

I'm not starting anything, I'm just pointing out that it's funny. You don't see me going on a rant about how it's horrible and sucks and blah blah. There's a difference between stating something and then arguing with people. The way arguments get started is someone picks something out, and then starts commenting against it. I didn't do that, did I? I only said that because he said "FUNimation promised us uncut footage" and that's the first thing that came to my mind.

But... even mentioning something like that AT ALL is like dangling a big, juicy chunk of bait out in the open. Something's bound to snap it up and tear it apart sooner or later.

On a more serious note, I am through with the discussion of cropping. I have been able to deal with large amounts of overscan,(literally! I most games I play, lines of text can be cut off) and I can deal with this. I do admit though, there are times I feel I am missing a bit, but the English with Japanese BGM makes these sets more worth it than the overpriced FUNi singles.

If you guys want to blame anyone for this whole widescreen fiasco, blame those who made widescreen tv's so outrageously popular.

I really don't give a crap about this either way. If I can see the show, then that is all that matters to me.

If you don't like the cropping, then good for you. We are all entitled to our own opinions, and I was wrong for getting a smart alec tone. I don't feel like starting a flame-war, and if I offended anyone earlier than I apologize. I have a hard time choosing the right words sometimes.

Man, that screenshot looks horribal. I mean, the entire seen is practictly cut out. Do all of the sceens look like that or is that the only sceen where everything is cut out. If all the sceens are cut out like that one, then you can count me out on the double feauture.
