You are suppossed to wait. Getting hold of every DBZ movie is not The Most Important Thing You'll Ever Do With Your Life. Do something else. Read a book. Play a game. Write your autobiography. The movies will come out in time, and when they do, you can buy them and watch them. Wanting everything now now now is a slightly immature attitude to have. They only got the movies every six months in Japan, so I'm sure it won't kill you to hold out a bit between releases.

It will not affect your life.

But the place I'm hoping to do business with is called DBGoten's Trading Zone, and I'd heard it was a reliable place to get fansubs....

By the way, what's a digisub? I've never heard of that.
I'm so confused... where the heck am I supposed to get those movies that are not yet released by FUNi if there's no respectable fansub distros left?
Am I supposed to download them, maybe.... man, I wish I'd bought DB fansubs back when they were popular and highly available, rather than finding out about them a few years too late.... -.-;
Cancel the order. NOW.

I ordered the Cell Games from him a few years back (2000-ish?), plus the two TV specials, and they *sucked*. Not worth the money, honestly. Hell, hit the P2P apps if you're that impatient.

I'm actually going to be selling a lot of my dragon ball stuff soon, so watch out for a link on Mike's page in a couple days. And, as long as Mike doesn't object, I have a ton of fansubs in great quality for sale in addition to dvds, wallscrolls, daizenshuus, unopened SBC figures, cards, anything you can imagine that's dragon ball...

Yea, I figured that'd be your decision. Maybe I'll just throw 'em in for free, get people to order some of the other stuff :)

Turn it into a bidding contest: whoever pays the most obscene amount of $$$ gets free fansubs.

lol... I know me getting the movies is hardly the most important thing I'll ever do with my life, and I'm sure I did sound a bit immature and antsy, but I can't help it. I've just really been wanting to see them, and knowing that so many other DB fans have already done so only makes me want to see them more. If they didn't have to wait for them all to be released by FUNi, why should I?
Besides, I really don't have many other things to occupy my time with anyway...

Double crap. I'll probably take your advice.... as much as I'd like to see those movies, I'd hate to get rippped off...
And I prolly would hit the P2P apps like you said, but I shudder to think how long the download time would take, on my whopping 56K modem...

okay, then. Thanks for telling me.

And one last thing. This is to Josh - is that really you in your avatar? I've just been curious, but if it's none of my business feel free to say so.

Haha, I don't think people want fansubs that badly. I'll just throw 'em in if you order a good amount of something or whatever.

Well, a lot of people got them when the series wasn't over here or when it looked like the movies wouldn't be released in North America. Another reason at the beginning when DBZ was first over here was that it looked like there would never be uncut, Japanese versions of DBZ available. Now, well it's so easy to get them, you can walk into your local Wal-Mart and find them! So not only is it more illegal now then ever, it just doesn't really make sense.
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

Quick thing I figured I'd point out, I saw the DVD today and picked it up...man, kinda disappointed.

The subtitles were messed up. A lot. Timing was screwed, Goku said 'Cell defeated Cell' when he was clearly saying 'Satan', and there was a weird graphical glitch where a line would run through the subtitles at some points. And here I thought FUNi had improved...

I know, my girlfriend actually got me out of the house by saying "Best Buy has your DVD for $15.99, I'll buy it for you," so I got all excited, but then we couldn't find it there. I had her check the ad. Then we felt stupid.

Well, hot damn, I'll be heading in on Tuesday for it, then. Guess I'll buy the next Cell Games DVD (which is also out on Tuesday) from Best Buy as well, they've been setting the prices for them similarly low.

The one thing that annoyed me in Movie 9

Tenshinhan v.s Trunks

WHY did Trunks have to win? He is an amature compared to the greatness of the Tenshinhan! Figures...damn saiyans always gotta win...
