I just want an English dub with my beloved Japanese BGM. Seriously, I love GT's BGMs.

It's a good thing I bought all the original disks in case this turns out bad. The Dub/Japanese BGM track is probably the only reason I'd buy this set, since the Japanese credits will most likely be gone and the video will most likely be cropped.

Isnt September a bit of a Jump from how long the other seasons took to come out?

Side question; does anyone else get exsides to look through the 'bonus' trailer section on the new DVDS? I do beacuase they always show a bit of the next thing to come out for DBZ.

I always check the trailers. They have a DBZ Season 6 trailer along with the 3/4 Double Feature trailer in the Season 5 set. Not even a mention of GT yet... We can only hope we get more info soon, I really want to learn about this release!

If it isn't cropped, I'll buy it. I love GT's songs.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

SonGoku GT = Maybe they werent ready to release the trailer yet BUT if the next two come out the same date as the GT season 1 then I'm not sure how they would advertise it besides the GT website and MAYBE air a commercial during naruto on saturday nights. {Thats when I see the season 5 trailer] I have a screen shot of season 6 and movies 3/4 and I use it as my background as a reminder. I'm more looking forward the the movies coming out though.

So Season 6 is out September 16?
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I think FUNimation actually cares about how GT is handled. Since, they have everything for it and it's a shorter series. Well, that's my theory.

I can't wait for these to come out, and I'll probably buy the Death Note Movie on the same day. Since, they both come out September 16th.

I agree 100% about them taking their time with these dvds and season sets. I mean look at Japan; they got the Single DragonBall and Dragonball z AND GT dvds 2 monthly and we have 2 wait almost 4 months between sets this time around.

I think Funimation's existing GT sets are the closest to a "perfect" release we're ever going to get, but thats speaking from the standpoint of a fan of the Japanese version.

I won't be grabbing the new ones because I already own the series, and don't care enough about the dub to drop the extra cash.

I was gonna buy the UK version of the Death Note movie in 2 months, but waiting 3 is ok if it has the Ocean group dubbing it, Brad Swaile always gets the hero roles right on the dot, Son Gohan, Amuro Ray and Light Yagami, man. Even Rumina in Tokyo Underground.

I know almost nothing of the japanese versions minus they have more 'less serious' and lighthearted opens and themes [for example the GT opening; the US has like a rap-esque song] which I like; but I WILL be buying the new GT stuff to have for my collection.

Well, it was in English in theaters, so it should have the Ocean Group dub on DVD. I couldn't go for either of the two nights. Since, I was on a school trip, but I've heard there was some F-bombs and Ryuk saying "You're in deep shit now!" to Light.

Sorry, for going off-topic VegettoEX.

I didn't buy every DBZ DVD that Funimation previously released, but I did buy all the GT boxsets except for the "Lost episodes" that were never lost. I feel so ripped off, DAMN YOU FUNIMATION!

This is annoying, it mostlikely means that the single disks wont be produced anymore.

Whatever, FUNI wont be getting my money

Everything has come out in single disc format right? I bought all of them from DB to GT, so its a nice way to 'rewatch' everything when I buy the season sets and the double features. Its nice to see them diong more with the series.

No, the entire Dragonball GT series was released in four box sets. Dragonball was released in 11 small box sets, each one contain 2 discs, so it could also go as an individual disc release.

GT came out in single dvds first because thats how I bought them and THEN then boxes came out; but true about the double disk Dragonball releases but it was in one case so I uess I counted it as one. Id love to see DB and GT in brick seasons.
