Times where you prefer the dub?

I've been meaning to watch some of Funimation's more recent dubs for the longest time, but still haven't gotten around to it.

I used to flip over to the dub track quite often just to see how things were handled, these days, I don't even bother.

I'm no at the point on season 2 where its the original Funi dub. I'm getting really tempted to switch to Japanese. I stick with English for the sake of consistency. Because for better or worse the dub voices are my Dragonball. Though with subtitles on its not bothering me as much.

As said before I only watch the dub when I have a large amount of people wanting to view Dragonball with me. They are used to the dub and a lot of my Dragonball loving friends don't like to read subtitles so it's less of a hassle to just let them watch the English version. So in those types of situations I prefer just turning on the dub.

With my friends, I'm usually able to push for the Japanese version. They're more indifferent, not really preferring one over the other, having watched a pretty equal amount of both when we were younger. I'm still the only one, though, who could sing along (rather poorly) to Cha La by the time I was 13.
