If Dragonball DS is turned into Dragonball Z Origins, I'm not buying it.
Why? Because they changed the title?
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.

That would be a bad reason, but I won't get it because they'll probably use the dub voices.

I sure hope the Z is a mistake, otherwise things are looking bad.

You're joking, right? It isn't a Dragonball "Z" game, so why is the title stating otherwise?

Probably could be a mistake on Gamestop.com's part. They tend to screw up titles and release dates for more "obscure" games.

It's not a DBZ game, so why the DBZ title.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Because Z is UBER AWESOME, and edgey. :p
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Everything under the sun is being released as a 3-pack on the PS2, so I would definately not be surprised if Budokai/Sparking were released this way.

As for the other listing, I've got no clue.

Man... if there really was another Budokai-style game... I would DEFINITELY buy it. I miss the old Budokais and it'd be nice to have a continuation to Budokai 3's awesome-ness. :D As for the Trilogy... eh, I already have 'em all. But this Infinite World business seems interesting. I wouldn't mind Infinite World transforming into a Sagas 2. Sure, the first one was pretty bad... but it was nice to see a developer trying out something different than the yearly Budokai/Tenkaichi/ Shin Budokai/Burst Limit nonsense. And even if "Sagas 2" is bad, I'd play it just for Future/Mirai Gohan like Forgotten Hero here... and of course Goku!! I just hope the devs have learned from their '05 mistakes. :P

Just buy Burst Limit. It's Budokai 3 with flashier graphics and less characters/modes/stages/costumes/differences in color between backgrounds and characters.

I am caustically optimistic. After getting burned by Harukanuaruaru Density, I am hesitant to buy another Dragonball game that's not Tenkaichi 4.

Trillogy is definately a repack.

I'm unsure if this "new" game is actually new. I don't think Atari has the money to still develop linear non-community based titles (this is how Phil Harrison envisions the company going), even if it did make a profit, it still has a lot of debt. Could it be mangled/meshed together port of the Shin Budokai's?
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

The game has origins in its name. The origin of DBZ is Dragonball, the title makes sense...

I doubt Infinite World would be a truly new game. It comes out in a few months. If it were new, it would need a lot more development time than that (or, we would've heard about it and seen stuff from it much earlier).

I'm thinking both Trilogy and Infinite World are a collection of old games, or maybe Infinite World might be a port of some other games. But still, until I know for sure, I'm also curious about what it'll be.

Infinite World is some sort of "perfected" Budokai 3 :
http://www.fr.atari.com/news/dragon-bal ... 2-266.html

It has new characters (Super 17, Janemba, Paikuhan...) and mini-games like the one in the first Budokai.

I guess "Final Budokai" was just a working title for this...

This is great news, and the mini game to catch Bubbles seems exiting!

Finally! Burst Limit for the PS2! Now I don't have to get a PS3. Hopefully his contains all of the new music, and the awesome cutscenes. I'm not expecting this to look as good, but I really hope it plays as well as Burst Limit.
