Would you guys think diferently about me if I suggested Vegeta vs Omega Shenlong...

But honestly, I think that some of the android action was quite brutal: there's 19 getting his arms ripped from his body and then his head is seen rolling from the rubble of his body, 16 getting straight up curb-stomped, Dr. Gero getting decapitate (especially in DBZ movie 7 when there was all of that blood) and Future Trunks's demolition of 17 and 18 of the future could be considered pretty violent by most standards.

Ummm...It is an opnion. It doesn't make it wrong.

Videl vs Spopovitch that's the first time I really felt awkward showing my little cousins the show. I hate censoring in most cases but I wouldn't have held it against Funi if they butchered this scene. This battle was beyond harsh, mainly because it wasn't some muscle bound abnormally huge guy from an alien planet fighting Spopovitch, it was just some teenage girl with a famous father. I think this is the first time I felt real pity for a character in Dragonball.

In close second comes Kurririn being impaled by Freeza.

To this day, I'm still extremely peeved over the fact that Gohan didn't get to smack the living sh*t out of Spopovich in a legitimate battle.

Whoa there skipper, I never said it was wrong and I was only giving an opinion.

By the way, Cell didn't bleed when Goku blew him in half (unless you're talking about the manga which I didn't read).

I think Spopovitch would have been atomized by one punch from SSJ2 Gohan.

I'm going to vote Goku vs Vegeta for all the reasons already mentioned, as well as the fact that Vegeta crushed Goku's kneecaps and ribcage.

Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I consider it a fight, no matter how one sided it was.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

And people sometimes wonder why I always hated the old edited Saban/Ocean dub as much as I did.

I need my blood, viscera, and bodily mutilations present and accounted for god dammit. *pouts*
I can take one positive from it though. Having not seen those episodes properly, I've got more reason than just "I like Dragonball" (not that that isn't reason enough) when I finally watch it uncut in Japanese in a few weeks when I get the remastered episodes. :D

I always thought Vegeta vs. Kid Buu was a pretty brutal fight. Sure, it wasn't that much blood. But Vegeta literally got his ass handed to him, trying to buy a minute for Goku to powerup.

All n' all I can understand them censoring both scenes. I mean that isn't exactly Saturday morning cartoon material. When they edit things like "Mr.Satan's" name because the Christian soccer moms may piss their pants I get mad. When they censor things like Gohan thinking about an apple tree I get mad. But when they censor an obese pink bastard ramming his fist through some pitiful green Namek as purple blood sprays everywhere...well....

That scene (and the other few that use the same BGM) can not be brought up without me saying how awesome that song is! It's definitely one of my top 2 favorite songs in the entire anime trilogy, and it adds a whole new element and feel of brutality to this scene and the others it's used in.

Is it just safe to say that the Freeza saga as a whole was the most violent. Vegeta did pretty much brutalize Freeza's whole camp. Breaking Dodoria's arms, making Cui explode, decapitating Guldo, and the way he broke Burter's neck was pretty bad too. There was also a lot of blood as demonstrated by those two pics of Gohan and Dodoria.

Freeza lost a few pints as well.
