I'm sorry is this conversation meant to be hot? Sorry about that. I think, no scratch that, I know Chichi would win. Her combine house wife rage and martial art skill is no match against Videl's determined nature. I do believe it would be a very, very close match. Both Videl and Chichi started training when they were very young and both had very strong and skilled fighters as their dads. I know Mr. Satan is pretty weak when compared to everyone else in the show but he is (or use to be) one of the strongest human beings in the world.

But he didn't train with Roshi, if he did he'd probably Stronger than Kuririn by the Buu Arc...

i dont endorse violence against women or anything but i have no fliipin idea how bulma [and possibly chichi] didnt get B**** slapped or blasted for all the yelling and BSing they both did; come on vegeta, you wouldnt take that crap from a guy.

videl can fly so she would win; if you cant reach your opponent [chichi] you cant do anything; videl can fly so she chooses when and where the battle goes.

Videl Wins =]

EDIT: just bc you dont get trained by roshi doesnt mean youre weak. Fact; Mr Satan won the Worlds martial arts tournament so he was the strongest human on eatrh [minus z people]

1. ChiChi can jump fifty or more feet straight up.

2. I still don't see how that means 'videl wins'. She has to get close to ChiChi to attack her.

You think Vegeta and Goku should beat their wives for yelling at them?

You don't win for running away, or flying away, that's a forfeit right thar.

Chi Chi:

Tenkaichi Bedokai:

-She fought Goku in the very first round, and that's as far as she went. I don't know who she had to fight (and beat to qualify for the first round though).

Other fights:

-She kicked Yamcha's butt (eary DB).
-She impressed Goku (early DB).
-She decapitated a dinosaur (without even trying...with an attack suit)

That's all I can think of right now, and I'm not a big fan of Videl so I'm not even going to try.

The Verdict:

I say that Chi Chi with her early childhood ninja suit would be able to defeat Videl.

No i dont mean they should beat their wives...i mean EVERY single guy flinches when bulma yells at them and they back down like they are scared or something - it pissed me off so much on namek to see gohan and krillin shaking - they have enough power to throw bulma BACK to earth [figure of speech] they need to step up and yell back or put her in her place.

chichi may ba able to jump 50 feet in the air, but videl can fly as high as the oxygen holds up. - if you were in a fight, would u rather be the flyer or the one on the ground?

EDIT: at the point we actually SEE videl; chichi is much older and has had two kids and we see no training in between MINUS basic stuff with goten. - Videl has been training non-stop since childhood and is in great shape and is the citys defense pretty much.

Videl, in her prime; chichi, old mother.

Note that Master Roshi called her 'adept' and she was keeping Goku off-balance. And Goku botched his kiai and slammed her into the wall, but she got up just fine.

Still don't see why that matters. ChiChi's not miles above the earth, why would Videl be?

This isn't really much of an argument.
But to that last part, I think we're all thinking of mature ChiChi and Videl against each other, but maybe Mature ChiChi in her Psycho Ninja War suit?

I didn't mean for all of that information to be the backing behind my verdict, I posted all of that in response to Anonymous Friend's question (which I quoted in the top of my post). And I know that we are all talking about Mature ChiChi and Videl, my opinion was that Mature Chi Chi with her ninja suit would at least be a close match; which you seem to agree with. :)

Kuririn beat Chaozu, Yajirobe beat Cymbal, and Tenshinhan didn't feel he deserved the win against Goku, so flying doesn't equal winning.

And though Goten's strength was most probably due to sparring against Trunks, his technique more resembles the Kame-school's style, and the only one who could've trained him in that is Chichi.

Videl is strong, but I would have to give the victory to Chichi.

And Goku. Goku did spend a year in the ROSAT training Gohan and the Kame style of fighting is the basis of Goku's style. Not to mention that that year of training from/with Goku was Gohan’s last real training before he would have had the chance to train Goten (about 6-7 year gap between learning it and teaching it), so it was probably pretty fresh in his mind.

Chi Chi however had learned the Kame style of training about 20 years earlier and hadn't really used it since...plus I can't really see her wanting to teach Goten to fight.

And if you think about it, the "Kame style" is really "the Mutaiti turned Kame style", which was passed down to Gohan and then Goten through Goku, and the style that Chi Chi learned was "the Mutaito turned Gyomao style".

Goten says she taught him out to fight while Gohan was studying all the time.

I know, I said that Gohan might have taught Goten what he had learned from Goku.

Alright, you got me there. I didn't even know that line existed; is it filler?

I really doubt Gohan trained Goten in anything.

Nope, it's manga.

Gohan may have helped, but Goten definitely tells Gohan that Chichi had been training him. And if Chichi training pushed Goten far enough so that he could become Super Saiyan then she is quite strong.
Videl was awe-struck with the fight between Goten and Trunks, and they weren't even super saiyans.
So if Chichi could keep up with Goten in trainings then, for me, it means she is stronger than Videl.
Hell, Chichi was pushed through a wall and a tree by Goku, and she didn't look so bad after it, still angry, almost paying no mind to Goku and Gohan tending her.
Videl is quite strong, i mean she is stronger than Satan, and he is quite strong for a human. But Chichi could kill dinosaurs as a child, while Gohan had to rescue Videl from one. So Chichi all the way 8)

Youre just assuming things with chichi and goten. we never saw them fighting, all we know is goten happened to go super saiyan while they were sparing

And that only applies to Chichi and not Videl why?

Does the fact that Chichi hasn't done any training for 20-odd years prior to Videl being trained by Gohan count? If so, then I say Videl.

No, because ChiChi knows the Kaioken.
