I don't think so.Tsukento wrote:Hell no. If I wanted to play DBZ Monopoly, I'd take Monopoly and use mini DBZ figures.SSJToreto wrote:Meh... It was alright. Budokai 2 is where it's at!
Also, meant to ask this. But Japanese voices, they in?

Yes. They're in the options menu. Also, I noticed when you chose between the two, Japanese is on the left and English is on the right. Kinda amuses me.Tsukento wrote:Hell no. I agree that it is right that only GT Vegeta can go SSj4, but I think he is disappointed with that because now he can't do in-game-transformations from base form all of the way to the top (that's how I felt when I first played DBZ: Sparking).Rocketman wrote:Um...why? If so, then I call bullshit.
Except Z Vegeta can go SSJ4. Both Gokus and both Vegetas can go SSJ4. And what do you mean by doing tranformations from base form all the way to the top in game?SSj_Rambo wrote:I agree that it is right that only GT Vegeta can go SSj4, but I think he is disappointed with that because now he can't do in-game-transformations from base form all of the way to the top (that's how I felt when I first played DBZ: Sparking).Rocketman wrote:Um...why? In Sparking or in Infinite Worlds? If he really can in Sparking than I'm probably thinking of either Sparking Neo or Meteor. I used to play them all a lot, so they're all kind of smooshed into one game in my mind...plus I haven't played any of them in almost half a year.Taku128 wrote:Except Z Vegeta CAN go SSJ4. Infinite World. I've done it several times already.SSj_Rambo wrote:In Sparking or in Infinite Worlds? If he really can in Sparking than I'm probably thinking of either Sparking Neo or Meteor. Some other things I'm noticing is the game uses a number of Dub Lines. Such as the Goku/Majin Vegeta cut scenes. But the Dub Lines are good ones...
"You have stolen my Honor...And your debts must be paid", anyone?
So that I personally enjoy.
Though, I'm finding Sabat's Vegeta to be weak in this game. A lot of lines are sounding very borderline Piccolo. I noticed this once or twice in Sabat's Re-Dub of Episodes 68+. But this is just ridiculous.

This is why I switch the voices over to Japanese mentioning of which I wish the subtitles would be more accurate, I don't know a ton of Japanese but I could tell some lines didn't match up with the subtitles on screen.
Edit: While I'm here is there any other way to earn Dragonballs besides mini-games?
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight
._. I thought the video games were supposed to be better scriptwise
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
From what I played of Burst Limit, I remember seeing at least one odd line or two that didn't match with the Japanese script (aside from "over 9,000").
Going back to a Budokai style seems to change that.
Speaking of...anyone else find it incredibly funny how Atari changed the name of the Sparking! series to market it as a Budokai series, yet when Infinite World comes out, they don't even bother changing the name even when it is technically part of the Budokai series?

Dragonballs are redundant in this game. Everything can be bought in the Shop once the game is complete.NeptuneKai wrote:Gozar wrote:Some other things I'm noticing is the game uses a number of Dub Lines. Such as the Goku/Majin Vegeta cut scenes. But the Dub Lines are good ones...

Also i learned of a great money thick in the game
Requirements:
Story Complete in it's entirity
Z difficulty purchased
WE GOTTA POWER! purchased several times (Will be able to purchace highest version when you can purchace the secret game mode
Once you have met these requirments enter story mode and travel to the Buu Saga, Once there pick the mission where you play as C18 and have to lose the fight to Mr Saten, Equip the "WE GOTTA POWER!" capsule and set difficulty to Z and lose the match, This will give you 90.000 Zeni but the maximum amount of Zeni you can carry is 999.900 so pay attention to your maximum money
Have fun
It's DragonBall being released in the US. Did you expect something that made sense?Tsukento wrote:Speaking of...anyone else find it incredibly funny how Atari changed the name of the Sparking! series to market it as a Budokai series, yet when Infinite World comes out, they don't even bother changing the name even when it is technically part of the Budokai series?

You raise a very valid point.Gozar wrote:It's DragonBall being released in the US. Did you expect something that made sense?
Now that I think about it...not one single company that releases anything Dragon Ball related to the US has ever made any sense. FUNi, Viz, Atari...what the crap?

Damn, I'm playing more and more into the game and hating Sabat's job as Vegeta more and more. Either the day he went into record he got sick and couldn't reschedule or he just didn't care. I mean this is just not good. The acting is about average as far as Video Games go. But the voice, there's hardly any rasp to it. For me, Sabat doing this is the equivalent of Horikawa suddenly having a raspy voice for those who plays the games with the JP Track.
I thought the raspiness was one of the biggest issues people have with Sabat's Vegeta.
