My pretty much only Dragon Ball Christmas memories are... let's see... getting two of those god-awful "How to Draw Dragon Ball Z" books a few years ago (I'd love to burn them, but I need them to show to friends how laughable they are) and my gran got me a cartridge-only Buu's Fury last year. Last present she ever got me.
... I'm not seeing any sympathy cards, here. You bastards! I hate you! I'll kill all of you!!
It's fun. Not nearly as bad as I'd heard. If not better than LoG II, I think it's on equal ground.
Oh, and hopefully Santa will have stuffed Burst Limit in my stocking twelve days from now...

Meh. I think my only Xmas that was Dragonball themed for me to some degree was 03 when I received Budokai 2. Back then my family, regardless if you believed in Santa Claus or not, still had to wait until the morning of the 25th to get your gifts under the tree. I remember waiting until my parents and siblings fell asleep and then make a dash into the living room, swiped B2, and went back upstairs and spent like 10 hours playing it. I was so occupied with it that I didn't even bother to open my other presents until dinner XP

In 2003, I got a box full of Dragonball Z figures, and then in 2006, I got the first season of Dragonball from Mum and Dad (yes episodes 1-13 and yes it's the Madman single realease) and Volume 8 from my aunt (the old pre-Shonen Jump Viz Release)

Mine's not really present-related but fandom related. I remember the year I found my first pathetic attempt at a message board...it was more like an image board, only without the images (namely, a text board), but it was the first actual community I participated in online. I found the place in October-ish of that year, and back then I used to start counting down the days of Christmas the day after my birthday (November 2nd), so I was in the Christmas spirit early. An acquaintance of mine on that board (there were four of us that somehow ended up forming a little clique; of that group there's only one who I still regularly keep in touch with) noticed this and decided to make a little Christmas fanfic starring our group and his favorite DBZ characters, Chibi Goten and Trunks. It was mostly a comedic story, but it revolved around us having to save Christmas because Santa was kidnapped by the Grinch, and we all had DBZ-style powers and battled it out for the sake of Christmas...it was terribly n00bish, but a piece of humorous nostalgia nonetheless.
Not to mention it ended up spawning an annual tradition...my acquaintance wrote the original, but each year after up to the present day I've written the 'Christmas Story' for our group (which later encompassed my entire message board once that was created) where the Grinch is always the characteristic villain and we have to defeat him to save Christmas. In recent years actual Dragonball characters have been excluded in favor of starring all the members of our group, and my old acquaintance has fallen out with us, but that same 'Dragonball feel' of the original has remained in every year's story, and that's probably my fondest Dragonball-related holiday memory...because it always makes me think back to those good times on that board back in my DBZ-obsessed days.
For the sake of the lulz, this is the original story, and this is the old board on which we all met and congregated. Oh God, my weeaboo days... *shakes head*
At least I can be proud that I always typed with proper spelling and grammar, even with my poor misuse of the Japanese language.

Hmm, I don't remember the year; but I remember it was the first year I started to sneak peeks at my presents in my parents closet. And that was the year me and my younger brother recieved a giant garbage bag filled to the top with Irwin DBZ toys. Including the Trunks and Kuririn combo pack which is quite rare and I wish I hadn't torn it open haha.
I just recently watched a home video of it ( my parents tape me and my brothers opening presents each year) and it was funny because I would open a present and be in awe and you can hear my dad say put it away and finish opening yr presents haha
