Yep. Ironically though, being gay is still higher on the food chain than being single, or so I read. If you're single then there really must be something wrong with you apparently.sailorspazz wrote:Some people view even the occasional inclusion of homosexual characters in anime as Japan being progressive, but actually, homosexuality is more accepted as a fantasy (i.e., girls reading BL manga) than a reality (such as two gay men having a long-term relationship). Does DB portray homosexuality unfairly

Change that to being a "single woman over 25" and you have it. XDBussani wrote:Yep. Ironically though, being gay is still higher on the food chain than being single, or so I read. Sailorspazz pretty much summed up all I wanted to say concerning the real view of homosexuality in Japan. It's an attractive little fantasy between 2 beautiful people and nothing more. It's like a fairy tale myth and not supposed to exist in real life. It's why I roll my eyes at all the weeaboos and yaoi fangirls that seem to think the country is this perfect utopia of tolerance and superiority.
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."
