There isn't, because the audio is Mono on the Dbox's. FUNi's Remastered sets have a 6 channel option, with the voices on 1 channel, music on another, etc...Saiyajin no Tatsujin wrote: I wonder if there's a way to rip the BGM from the Dragonbox discs.
And what do you mean "It sounds alright"...do you not like GT's music?

Its the same music, but the Dragon Boxes do tend to sound better. The problem is that the Dragon Box audio is 2 channel monaural (as apposed to the 5.1 layered digital audio used in the primary audio track of the season sets), which means that you cannot separate parts of the audio (like DBHighDefinition does for his BGM .mp3's). So if you want any audio from the Dragon Boxes it'll have the dialogue and sound affects stuck on top (unless you want to piece the song together, which is extremely time consuming and can only be done with a handful of tracks throughout the entire series).Innagadadavida wrote:Why? I wonder if there's a way to rip the BGM from the Dragonbox discs.
The Japanese BGM on the Eng audio/Jap BGM track from the FUNi discs is usually pretty similar to that of the Dragon Boxes. The Japanese BGM on the Jap audio track of the FUNi discs is garbage compared to anything, since for that they used the audio that was imbedded in the masters (or so I've heard).

If only all the Dbox's had the same audio clarity as The Movies Box ( Isn't it in stereo? Or VERY close to stereo? ). I mean, that was just phenomenal audio quality.

I meant the quality is alright. I love the GT soundtrack too much.DBHighDefinition wrote:And what do you mean "It sounds alright"...do you not like GT's music?

SSj_Rambo, I see what you're saying. And I know exactly what you're talking about. I just thought I'd ask to see if anyone has attempted it yet.

Well, the quality is the best you could get under the circumstances, I even had to mix it into stereo because the raw channel with the music sounded like it was in mono.

Hey I've been working on the BGM which DBHighDefinition did, except its missing the last 10 seconds of the song. It's improved and the quality is great. There's only 2 sound effects and the rest is really great. The volume for the whole track is fixed, so you are not gonna hear it go up and down, the volume is fixed. Hopefully when DBHighDefinition is not busy he can finish the ending and hopefully the middle parts. Enjoy.

...which is why I said, "but good effort nonetheless".DBHighDefinition wrote:Well, the quality is the best you could get under the circumstances, I even had to mix it into stereo because the raw channel with the music sounded like it was in mono.

I have finish a battle theme BGM for DBGT. It's the most played BGM in all DBGT. While the audio is very good, its not 100% clean, it's like 97, but you can barely hear the effects, so it's not that big ofa deal. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Hey guys I am right now working on the Hitorijanai BGM, the sad one which appears in episode 64 and goku says bye. Its pretty good, but you can hear some sound effects on some parts, but only like footsteps, and that's barely on some seconds. This is what I got right now, but I hope to perfect it in the following weeks or so.
