Well, it isn't exactly the movie 8 poster art...

Vegeta looks really awkward in the redrawn one.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Could I get someone to do me a huge favor :? Can someone message Funimation, And see if they are going to Fix, That error on the Cooler movie? Because that is what is keeping me from buying this set. No fix No buy :(

I severely doubt they give much of a shit about that.

It just doesn't make sense! If they know a product is messed up And yet they choose to just say Screw it and not fix it, Then they shouldn't be releasing stuff.

Technically there no point in a re release using that logic they could just continue with the steel books as it the same in everything except packaging but they decided to bring this out so there seems be no point in working out there logic.

If they fix will be a big IF honestly I honestly think with these they took steel books footage combined it together and putting in a new box [Crappy box I like Steel] with no edits what so ever these really are a way to milk money in my opinion, we know they have DBOX DBZ Movies as they have said that I just see this as a way to make more money out of the films. Suprisely I don't think they going do TV specials but than again they have been released on seperate releases using steel book footage before.

I believe what I'm going to do is wait until someone from Daizenshuu EX get's this thing, And Tell's me if they fixed the American soundtrack. For the Cooler Movie

I like these cover arts actually.... the big question for me is whether or not it's worth finally upgrading my Madman singles.

Hmm. It seems Funimation is using the covers from the Spanish releases for the first 2 DBZ movie sets. http://caratulasdragonball.blogspot.com ... ision%20V2.

I like the first set, but I don't know what to say about the re-drawn cover for part 2 set. They look horrible and absolutely ugly, almost like an unprofessional artwork. Even I can draw better. I really like the Movie 8 poster art from 1993. I owned it from DBOX movie single. But seeing the re-drawn from that poster just makes my eyes hurt. Goku looks so wrong, Broly looks worse, Trunks looks like he should stop drinking body-building protien shake. I have nothing against Vegeta, but Gohan was ok. His face could use a bit of work. Like I said in ther other thread, I prefer early 2000's artworks over recent ones, like Legendary Super Warrior, Legacy of Goku series, and Budokai series. That style would be great for any DVD release. I really hate the new art style for DBZ and should not be used at all.

I do restorations of images, the spanish version of the Broly's movie hasn't Vegeta and Trunks, if someone could give me a good scan I will do a HQ version.
funrush wrote:Aw, that looks so... shitty, like it was fan-made. They could've done something else with that background instead of throwing Vegeta, Trunks and Gohan on top of it.
Totally absord, all these covers are new versions from the original posters.

I really like the cover art. They did a great job redrawing it. But I hate that this is beng used for a bundle of 4 different movies.

Anyway...I just noticed that Goku isn't wearing his blue undershirt in this AND the original movie cover art. It looks so wierd and now I can't unsee it
Call me crazy but I actually like it.
