I missed the last two episodes and I kinda lost interest but, having seen them now, I have to say the dub hasn't being bad. I still have issues with the opening music and some voices but overall it's not bad. Watching it in HD really enhances the experience.

I'm surprised Spínola's Pilaf sounds the same as back then. I don't know why they're calling him "Emperor" and having Mai and Shuu being so casual around him but whatever.

We're doing it for Japanese Super so I guess it'd be interesting doing it for Portuguese Super as well:

Dragon Ball Super is the lead-in for Águia Vermelha, I think.

The ratings keep falling, I see.

So... Episode 5. There was no Super Saiyan 2 punching to other dimensions.
Loy still keeps just saying crap and Mega Guerreiro is back.
Other than that it was fine.

Yep. I think part of it is because of it airing early and the episodes being legally available online. Episode 5 might see an improvement because of the battle, even if it's the TV version

Hated the mess of naming the Super Saiyajin forms but oh, well...

I forgot, did Kaiou mentioned Beers blowing up his planet in the past? If so, they didn't talk about it here. And NO ONE is treating anyone with respect, Kaiou is afraid but so casual towards Beers :problem:

I'm liking the episodes almost as much as I was when watching them for the first time.

It was the Blu-Ray version.
As for Kaio's planet, according to Herms' Guide the Portuguese script was correct (except for Beerus not mentioning he'd leave the planet the size of Kaio's shack - that creates a bit of an inconsistency with Kaio's next line, that mentions the shack).

What? They aired the bloody TV version, not the BD version? That's not a good sign for other tv dubs...

Here's an official (and free) streaming link of the first episode from SIC. Not sure if it is available in other countries other than Portugal.

And yes, I'm speechless. I never thought they'd have it available online. I wonder if they'll upload all episodes or just this one, because it's the premiere.
Guys, episodes 1-4 are all still online. Just saying since someone said older episodes would be taken down.

Didn't notice that. They seem to be accessible only through the direct link.

Episode 3

Episode 4

Episode 5 (active tomorrow)

Episode 6 (active tomorrow)

Can Loy stop dubbing Vegeta already? He butchered the character.

I'm guessing either Vitor Rocha or Ricardo Spinola are more loved as Vegeta over in Portugal?

Spínola gets the praise as the best Vegeta but Loy is the most iconic since he was the first and last voice of the character (Saiyan-Namek arcs and then GT).

Singing and saying random unrelated stuff. Pérolas, basically. The problem to me isn't really that he's saying that but the fact he is saying it non-stop.

"Here's a bronchitis" is among the things he said.

He's pandering those who want this sort of stuff (i.e: the vocal crowd). It's not the actor's fault, it's the people who ask for it and the dub director for letting this happen.

You should find a way to complain about it to the channel, or the people making this dub.

It's precisely this. There has to be someone in the studio to say "no" to the guy. And he was thrashed in the Facebook's fan page today and with good reason. The cringe was so much that I turned off the TV.
