But in my opinion you should start with the first pages, I'm getting pretty tired of seeing about 3 versions of the same pages with different English translations. Agreed. As awesome as this toyble's drawing skills are, the general story for this is pretty meh. What I'm hoping for is at least some kind of backstory for how Gohan was able to go SSJ4, since the way it is now, it just seems like SSJ4 is pretty easy to attain. I wouldn't be surprised if Chi-Chi randomly shows up and transforms (why must these transformations be limited to Saiyans, right) .

I think he'd reached the level before in between GT and AF. In GT, you had to become a Golden Ozaru before becoming a SSJ4 for the first time, and then every time after that they can just go SSJ4 without becoming a Golden Ozaru.
