Not to mention if Freeza's form is not some one time thing then he should have used it against Goku in Hell and would not be as weak as he was on Namek. Freeza and Cell in GT don't seem to be any stronger then they where in the Namek and Cell saga.
I thought it was pretty clear, that both GT and BoG happen in the different timelines. I am not even sure if these new movies follow DBZ timeline, because in DBZ timeline the backstory of Goku and Bardock was different from Dragon Ball Minus, backstory of which these new movies apparently follow.

I'd like to point something out...

There has to be a cliffhanger, especially since we were told by one of the voice actors to wait until after the credits for a special surprise.

Frieza must be alive, or something... :wtf:

Vegeta fans will hate this movie with passion. This movie looks a lot of fun can't wait to see it.

So I read one opinion say the movie is apparently "unremarkable and bland". I know people hate the negativity, but honestly, this is the first dbz release I've ever experienced in my 16 years following the franchise where every new unveilment has been more and more disappointing. Not many can even disagree--just accept.

I think Yanami had missed out on a couple of things before this movie, actually. But he came really, really close.

At least he got a decent role in the 2013 movie as a nice send-off!

I saw in 2ch that Vegeta killed Sorbet. He probably noticed Sorbet was doin some weird sh*t to Goku.

If you're talking about Julian's tweet, he was talking about the film's musical score.

I don't get it, is that Vegeta line true or just a dub thing? And Freeza not going "Golden" against Goku in GT it is something that disregards GT from the main timeline
There is no main timeline, there are at least 4 timelines in anime and 4 timelines of manga, all of which are main. We are shown only two of them though. It was never stated that GT happened in the one timeline which we see after the Cell saga, it was also never stated that the new movies happen there. So no problem at all.

Julian confirmed that Sorbet dies before Freeza does. So neither of them are around, unless he left out some info.

I heard that statement from Julian regarding the soundtrack of Fukkatsu no F, not the movie though. He said it was fun.

Several hours from now. Julian is resting so don't expect it til late eastern standard time.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Really? I mean Freeza has to blow up Earth as the only means to defeat Vegeta, seems pretty satisfying to me.

Summary will be posted tomorrow it seems, Japan are 9 or so hours ahead so it will probably be posted early morning UK time.

Movies are just movies, they are as canon to manga as is GT.

If Sorbet dies before Frieza then I suppose that line at the end with Sorbet saying just as planned was all bullshit right?

Ah. Nvm that then.

I do mean the rest though. I hope the movie surprises me upon actually seeing it.

I'm fine with the movie thus far and I'm a fan of Vegeta. Based on the spoilers he really gets his chance to shine here. Does he kill Freeza? No, but he beats his ass so bad that he's forced to blow up the planet and that's good enough for me.
