You know in all honesty the eldest son makes a better Saiyan than his father, but that's just my rambling. XD So they mention the "Northern Quadrant" again. Does that mean they are located in a different quadrant, and if so what?

One complaint I have is that the Saiyans look really generic and kind of the same, but I suppose that really isn't your fault since Toriyama's style already has that problem as well.

I do think that the new designs are more distinct than the previous ones. These look like children of Rigor more.

Let's try not to make her into a Saiyan Kurrin, Tien, etc. by forgetting about her (calling her Yamcha would be too much of an offense).

Well, I guess he Yamamuro'd these pages. :P

I'm guessing Malik tries to imitate Yamamuro's style?

Not exactly.
I have said before that my style has been called a mix of Toriyama and the newer animation style.

A couple of days late, if I'm remembering correctly, but, nonetheless, HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY, MALIK!

May Rigor demolish all who try to ruin your birthweek! X3

That is one amazing piece of art, I cannot wait to see it colored.

All of the modern Dragon Ball animation relies heavily on Tadayoshi Yamamuro's models. What you said means you basically used Yamamuro's work as a reference.

It was hard to tell who was who in these panels. They all look like Vegeta, especially when it's zoomed in enough that you can't see their hair.

Otherwise I was always interested in seeing what happens when they get to Earth.

To be fair. Goten, Bardock Goku, Gohan, and Future Gohan have the same issue.

I never once thought that when reading the manga though. So how did Toriyama avoid that. There are still differences in the model of their faces and traits they have, like scars and the way Goten always looks happy and innocent which makes it easy to tell him apart instantly.

It's more like there are only a certain number of kinds of faces you can draw in the DBZ art style (at least that people have figured out) and they're all already taken by existing DBZ characters.

Any thoughts on this new Saiyan form and what kind of impact it'll have on your story?
