Nice to hear that the Earth gets destroyed, Goku saves the day in the end, and Freeza gets killed.

The only things I'm interested to know are:

• How does Gohan get defeated? Does he go Ultimate after all?
• Everything about the new blue SS. What is it called? Does it come after base, regular Super Saiyan, or Super Saiyan God? What does the aura look like?
• Do we see Super Saiyan God (with the red hair) Goku and/or Vegeta?
• Do we learn anything new about Vegeta's rage boost from BoG?
• Do we learn anything new that reveals what happened with Beerus' ki blast against God Goku in BoG?

But we've seen that already in the 1st manga chapter.

And why wouldn't he go to Hell? He didn't become any more good than he was, he even destroyed an entire city for fun.

Back from work; and after skimming through over 20 pages of the thread, the general consensus I get from the film is:

Freeza bites the dust. Via Kamehameha from Goku and an ass kicking from Vegeta.

That's progress in the mastery of that form.
The first Super Saiyan God attempt (and as base form) required Saiyan energy to circle through six Saiyans.
Now they can trigger the Super Saiyan God as Super Saiyans by making the energy connect through only two Saiyans.

So they now need to hold hands with each other so they don't need everyone else? Hm so they found away to make everyone else even more pointless. Next up the Candy Beam and Whis' time powers for the two of them.

I agree. I actually thought the BoG soundtrack was perfectly fine. To me, it felt far more cinematic than the traditional Japanese score (which don't get me wrong, I absolutely love). Since these movies are a somewhat different animal to the anime, I prefer them to sound different.

Really, if Vegeta was winning when Freeza blew the planet up he still loses because he wasn't going to beat Vegeta in the end.

Vegeta dies via explosion or suffocation, so either way Freeza wins since he can survive in space, and Vegeta can not. Vegeta apparently couldn't stop Freeza's attack so he lost.

I guess that's true. But maybe not. Depends on if it's the sort of thing where Freeza just blew up the core like he did on Namek. Not a blast that Vegeta couldn't stop per se, but Freeza catching them off guard and just shooting a blast at the earth's core.

My point is, in an actual one-on-one fight without any tricks Freeza wouldn't have defeated Vegeta (or so it sounds like). So that makes Freeza's victory low, means he couldn't have beat him in sheer power or fight ability. Just by blowing up the planet and using his age-old trick of "nay nay nay nay nay nayyyy I can breathe in space and YOUUU can't!!"

In a one-on-one battle instate of blasting the planet freeza could energies that ki on his fist and punch Vegeta to Kingdom come, same power differently used.

Oh darn it! I hoped that they can transform to those blue saiyan mode without help but it seems AT is going the yaoi way now, first 2 guy's dancing to fuse, and now 2 guy's holding hands to transform! I wouldnt be surprised if the next time they need to kiss to obtain a new transformation. I miss the rage transformations

It sounds pretty good overall. But it doesn't sound as impressive as Toriyama's editor made it sound like the story was going to be. I also remember Toriyama mentioning that this was a storyline he wanted to do during the original serialization of the manga. I was wondering if there was going to be a revelation about that statement, but it seems that all he wanted to do was I guess have Freeza come back for revenge. Maybe it was the angle that Freeza had to train to get his revenge that he wanted in the manga.

Actually, it was supposed to be confirmed when I said this, as it is written on the French forum as information that's been confirmed (the list of information on the French forum writes "remains to be confirmed" for all info that are still unsure, and there is no "remains to be confirmed" for this info).

But then Kei17 just stated a few pages back that Vegeta has to relunctantly hold Goku's hand to get teleported.

So, what was supposed to be confirmed ends up being potentially wrong again.
Sorry about that, this remains unconfirmed and likely wrong in the end due to Kei's statement proving otherwise!

According to Kei, Goku and Vegeta hold hands just for teleportation, nothing else.
