Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

-The worst wish in story-

The whole idea of bringing Freeza back and get him killed right away is not good.
If I had to bring back a old villain, Freeza is the only valid choice (too many reasons).

But I would choose a new villain over a old one, anyday. I was expecting the original ssjg or the former God of Desctruction. Both were my bets,

- I would like the idea of having a Toriyama saiyan as a villain and we could know more about their race and origins. Goku and Vegeta could even end up learning some new things about ssjg thanks to him.

- The former God of Desctruction would lets know more about the God's world, Beerus and Whis characters.

These were my choices. I'm just talking about revival wishes.
Instead of revivals, we could had a wish like: Connect all the universe and so.

So, if that post-credits scene about Freeza's Hell coccon still being empty its true (which I want), then I hope that will lead up to something more interesting.

I'm not a Vegeta fanboy either but I don't see how good is he taking advantage fighting a injured Freeza after battling Goku, he throws his Saiyan Pride in the trash cam again?

I think this actually shows his character development. Earlier he fought only for his pride, but now he has the different reasons to live and fight for. Was it actually explained how exactly Vegeta was killed? Maybe he was trying to tank an attack protecting the Earth and failed to do that? It may be a good character development if he did something like that.

Quite possible but couldnt he make a blast that can counter it? I mean Goku did and as far as I know Goku and Vegeta are equal unless we take what happened in chapter 2 that Goku got some hair out of Whis.

To me, the best moment in this movie was when Android 18 says "He's cool..." with a dazed face after Krillin flying off for the battle.

Did 18 do anything noticeable besides that line? Did she fight like she said in the blog she would?

She said she would, but Krillin tells her to take care of Maron and leaves her. She doesn't appear again after that.

I'm not surprised - many predicted this, including myself - but god damn that's still really disappointing. I was hoping a tender moment would involve 18 actually getting involved, she's never actually fought on the good side before.

I don't mind waiting for the summary but when everyone is waiting to know if the blue SSJ God is real, does Vegeta beat Freeza, is there a cliffhanger and what is it then why is Jaco's voice actor and the name of the Red bull guy being mentioned instead when that's the least interesting thing to know.

It's like if I saw the new Avengers and everyone was asking about who dies, how is Ultron defeated and what's the after credits scene then I told you who the stunt double was for Scarlet Witch.

Yes, all these things are so important. More important than "real life."

You're kinda missing the point, if you had the chance to see a movie and you knew dozens of people (at least) where waiting to hear what you had to say, talking about staying up late, getting up early, refreshing the page constantly wouldn't you want to at least want to write up a brief statement before going away instead of just mentioning a few tidbits that people don't really care about?

Same with whatever Kei's doing, he's showed up to post pictures and answer specific questions but not the most asked questions when it surely wouldn't have taken that long to answer.

If it were me I'd come home, get on the PC, type up a brief play by play, mention the things fans most wanted to know then go to bed.

It's not that I'm annoyed by it, I just think it's odd. Why tell us Bulma isnt pregnant but not say if theres a blue SSJ God or a cliffhanger?

Well, what questions are considered the ones someone most cares about is going to be different for different people. Maybe YOU think one thing is an important bit of information but someone else thinks otherwise. Also, it's really not his fault if everyone is waiting up all night if he gave a disclaimer saying he'll try to get to it but it's not exactly the most important thing on his list. He also did mention he would do it tomorrow at some point. You make it sound like everyone is entitled to this summary/write-up the night of. Or at least you act like you're entitled to him coming on here and fully explaining himself or at least answering a question you deem important.

At least Frieza *may* not be dead. I'll be so happy if he's still alive somehow Frieza is my favorite villain, and I want him to be fought without being taken out by a cheap timeskip kamehameha. I've got my fingers crossed for him to return...

I'm not surprised - many predicted this, including myself - but god damn that's still really disappointing. I was hoping a tender moment would involve 18 actually getting involved, she's never actually fought on the good side before.

Talk about putting negative spin on things. Yeah, I would have been happy to see #18 kick ass again. But she does have child to look after. I mean she is a mother, no matter what way you look at it. It's one thing if Krillin goes out into and battle and dies but what if #18 were to join and him and they both die? How the hell would break that to a child? I mean, who would break that news to her? Yamcha?

Not beyond the realm of possibility, but.... despite his return movie being essentially nothing, I do hope Toriyama at least tries to do something more than just use him as fodder to hype up the next bad guy.

It's not really what I think, there's been people talking about blue SSJ God since it was shown, obviously it'd be one of the things fans would most want to know about. I haven't seen anyone talk about whose voicing Jaco in Japan or what the red bull guys name is. So in a movie where Goku has possibly obtained a new form were instead being told the name of some fodder is weird.

I didn't say I was entitled or he had to do anything. We have two people who've seen the movie who've made several posts over a several hour window. Why neither have posted a brief summary that would only take 5-10 minutes is just odd to me. It probably took that long for Kei to post the pictures of the theatre on here which nobody even mentioned.
