Can it be called a "brand new series"?
I doubt that Nicktoons is nearly as concerned about the technicalities of "new series" as we are.

Hell-to-the-no!

On topic: That promo was very reminiscent of the old toonami ones for me.

Anybody like the way they say 'Dragon Balls save the world!'

Just saw that facebook fan club shit where Sean Shemmel says he's going to join Daizex. That guy is baller. I always liked his english Goku voicework post-cell game and the dude has just been droppin some great quotes and been real great about telling fans as much about Kai as possible and how he's been really respectful to the source material and japanese version. seems leagues away from shit I swore I read on the dude like ten years ago where he said something about Masako Nozawa not fitting the character or whatever(I'm probably remembering this incorrectly, it was from an old Planet Namek interview).

Also that's pretty hilarious that Penguintruth being a huge prick is what got him to sign up. If I was Sean I'd be so tired of dealing with nerds and cons and worshipful people on facebook, seems odd that a dude like Penguintruth even recognizes on his radar.

Anyway, rightstuf says my blu ray is "reserved for your order" and I live in Illinois, so I usually get it the day after it ships. crossing my fingers for my days off next week (monday/tuesday).

I wonder if the Ocean dub could get around that Cancon law if they were to re-record the OST -- the same songs, only played by Canadian artists -- like the German dub for DBZ Movies 12 and 13 did.

Man, I'm kicking myself for not preordering it off of RightStuf months ago. I live in Illinois so I always get my orders a day after they ship them, and my buddy and I could've provided some quick, super HQ clips and MP3s. :x But then again, I don't have the money for it right now anyway... :)

Really looking forward to clips from others and the Nicktoons airing, though.

Well if everything goes according to plan. I might have a dissection of FUNimation's DVD and Blu ray as early as tommorow....?

DVD and Blu-ray?

One thing... If there's a release date for Dragon Box Four in the flyer can you make a blurb about it in the forums ahead of the full dissection?

It doesn't seem like RightStuf uses Second Day Air Saturday, just Second Day Air. So we'll likely start getting them on Monday. They'll be in transit in the meantime, but they'll likely hold off on the delivery.

Has RightStuf started shipping on Wednesday, it'd be a different story.

Unfortunately, when RightStuf ships their packages on Friday, it takes longer for the package to be delivered. If they ship my packages Mon-Thurs, I always get it the next day. I've had a few of my packages shipped out on a Friday as well, but I didn't get them until Tuesday. This has always been the case, and I order from them quite a bit. It seems like it takes longer for UPS to get back on track once Monday hits.

So yeah, I'm sure the earliest someone will get theirs from RightStuf is on Tuesday unless somebody gets lucky.

A lot of us got the ball rolling on Thursday, though, not Friday.

Hopefully people get theirs Monday!

I live on the West border of Ohio, and I've been tracking my package.

It's gone all the way through Iowa and Illinois and is halfway through Indiana.

If I don't receive it tomorrow, I'll be surprsied, but at least that's a confirmation that I'll have it Monday.

Like I've been saying, there's a difference between Two-Day Air and Two-Day Air Saturday. I'm pretty sure RightStuf is using the former of the two, so it'll probably be Monday before we get it.

Yea, you're right. I just checked my shipping status and it said I should get it Monday.

I'm using neither of those, just standard ground shipping.

Yeah they are screwing me so badly. I had two day shipping and it's not coming until Monday. Might as well be 4 day shipping, this is the second time Rightstuf has screwed me on this. I think I may have to write them a letter.

Technically you are getting your order 2 weeks early.

Okay so I called the automated UPS bitch, and the jinzoningen (if you will) told me that my package is scheduled to be delivered Monday, May 3rd... even though it will be arriving 30 miles away from my house tonight.

Fuck.
