That doesn't make sense. Why show SS3 Goku's new paint job if they don't have any of the other figures with that treatment in those specific cases?

I guess you're right, but hopefully they will soon announce the figure's release date because I've heard that the info about SSJ3 Goku and Cell being recolored was just a rumor, but I'm really hoping it's true. I feel like they should've announced it here, but like you said, they didn't show any other figures with that treatment

The new Trunks figure's articulation makes all the other figures look bad lol. I was hoping they'd use Vegetto's sculpted shoes for Vegeta and Trunks too, but oh well.(Edit: Today pictures came out of Trunks feet and he has the Vegetto-type of boot! Now they just need to do it for SSJ3 Vegeta) We've got kid Goku! 
Now make kid Kuririn, Goten, Trunks, and Gotenks. 
I was fully expecting Champa and Vados so they can make start making that super money... Eh? Ehhh?

I really want SSG Goku, GT Goku, SS4 Goku, SS3 Vegeta (though he appeared in Heroes, I associate him with AF, plus the body should be compatible with the regular heads), Trunks, and maybe Kid Goku.
If these all get released, I hope they aren't exclusives, since Amazon seems to have stopped carrying new Figuarts directly, or at least the exclusives...

You can buy Figuarts released by Bluefin besides Amazon. Big Bad Toy Store, Anime Island, MH Toy Shop and Image Anime have Bluefin as a retailer.

In general this year, Amazon has pushed me away (Prime exclusive items was the last straw), so if they are exclusives, I'll go with BBTS. Unfortunately I will miss Amazon's free shipping.

That would be the larger scale version of the Figuarts Zero. Bluefin sold out of those rather quick at Otakon this summer.

Oh, I was thinking that but for some reason it looked different to me, but now that I look at it, the hair is definitely the same, so it must be the Figuarts Zero EX. Oh well, although are those Tamashii Buddies new?

Okay, now that the repaints have their own spot in the case, you can complain about SS3 Goku and Cell not being there. =P
It's also possible that they haven't quite decided on the colors they want to use for them, though no change in paint is going to help the Goku. He has rather grating sculpting flaws that make him look bad on a fundamental level.

Yeah, I know the sculpting was probably one of the worst in figuarts history, but the gi and skin color are just terrible and really need a repaint

According to a Bandai employee on /toy/ mention a list of stuff. Take this with a huge grain of salt.
- Premium Krillin coming also
- DB Kid Krillin can be made if Premium Krillin sells well
- Nappa, SSj Gogeta, Kid Buu, Freeza Saga Vegeta, Adult Gohan (pre-mystic), Yamcha and Gotenks have prototypes
- Bardock and Great Saiyaman are in talks too

If any of that is actually true, the most interesting bits for me (that aren't just being talked about) are the fully armored Nappa and Pure Buu. The rest...we'll see. Gogeta and alternate Buu Arc Vegeta stuff kinda have my interest as well.
I really want a well sculpted and scaled Raditz, but after SS3 Goku, i'm scared they'd screw him up. Badly. SS3 Vegeta has alleviated those fears a bit, but still... Though I'm not really sure he'd sell either.
