It's again the same what they do with the costumes. They just change the color and call it a new costume. This annoys the hell out of me. Why not just taking the real costumes from the anime?! Retarded..

Hopefully the pre-order costumes don't reflect the actual in game alternate costumes. Spike is usually good at providing fun alternative costumes so I'd expect nothing less from this one. My only complaint is that we've never seen Vegeta in his "Badman" shirt or Goten in more traditional Japanese outfit(seen in other non Spike games).

Yeah, so many people over at the Bandai forums are getting so angry about it. It's funny because they say what alternates they want without even thinking they might be in the game, hence why they don't appear as downloadable content

A different costume to me is different clothes, not just a hue change. Now if they CHANGED clothes to something different, THATS a alternate costume.

I think i'll probaby preorder from play.com then. I think i'd probably use Trunks more than any other character so something extra for him is always nice.

I hope they all get some nice interesting costumes even if its DLC

You can't call it random per se, it's Bardock's armour. What IS random is the fact that Vegeta is wearing Bardock's armour. A cool recolour would be the Royal Armour, but I guess that would count as a new outfit.
