Oh lord, Ramsey uses chatspeak...brilliant.

Because when did Goku sit there and daydream in class about his true love in a strawberry field as they slowly ran into each others arms? I personally don't fucking care about this movie at all but don't tell me that's a good non cliche' personality trait. It's obviously catering to the "Jack Everyteen" look.

Every super hero movie needs some cliche romance, get over it. Part of life.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

No it's not a superhero movie and if they would have just omitted that Chi-Chi "love love" bullshit they could have used her screen time for more training scenes or more Piccolo terrorizing the Earth. You know...stuff people care about?

Goku Smith was just a regular high school student, until... He got bit by a Radioactive story line! Now he's gotta save the whole world from the Green Gobli-PICCOLO!
But yeah, it BARELY counts as a super hero movie.

It's not on a message board or someone's blog... it seems like a legitimate site that has a review section... I'm inclined to think it's real.

Right I'm sure "HURRR Cliche' romance" wasn't an option and they were bullied into doing it. Even if they HAD to put in some bullshit romance they didn't need to rape Goku with it. Why not give the strawberry field dream to Bulma fantasizing about Yamcha at least that would have been in character.
In b4: "Hurr that dream sequence is short" but nonethless Goku is head over heels for Chi Chi in the entire movie from what I've seen and heard. Please feel free to corect me on that though, I'd love to be wrong.

AIDS, cancer, starvation, and an infinite number of other things are part of life, too, the only difference being that these things are less depressing to think about than Dragon Ball Evolution. I don't see how pointing out a certain story element as being common makes it any less bad.

At least when Ramsey made his point, he was citing something relevant (as DTX brought up rape). Randomly saying something pretentious like "Soldiers are dying and you're insulting someone's hard work" does nothing but make you look like a jackass.

I think the reviewer has Watchmen on the brain... even mentioning it in a DBZ review is ridiculous. I checked, and he's not listed on RT or MetaCritic... the review being like 3 paragraphs doesn't help either.
I want to read negative reviews, just not from no-name sites who compare it to Watchmen and haven't read or seen the source material.

I was thinking the same thing. The only reason I don't think it's legit is because he was so vague about the whole thing. Most of the time you get a little bit more detail about stuff in a review. Even when the reviewer doesn't care for it.

The review is too short to even be dissected. Like I said, I'll wait for better reviews.

A bit dramatic with him jumping through the fire in slow motion but it was decent I guess.

Holy Hell! 105 pages of discussion!
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.
