It would start doing the forums a lot of good if some of the members actually bothered to read what their fellow members were saying here before posting. I understand if they can't read every page, especially in some of the faster moving threads like this one. But it only takes a minute or two to skim at least the last page or two of a thread instead of just going "I didn't read anything prior to this, so sorry if it's been brought up already, but I think..."
I means some of the questions being asked are literally answered in the post above theirs. It's getting ridiculous to try and have a conversation here at some points.
Yeah that does suck for the people who keep up on the threads, but it really can't be helped. Even if every single person did a minimum of skimming, there's still things that would be missed and questions would be re asked sadly. It's tedious, and I get what you're coming from, but when stuff like that happens it's best just to say "meh, just a first world problem". It really puts it in retrospect.
At the risk of asking a previously asked question, do you thin k they'll be an audience?

But first, we have to be sure if he doesn't leave in the middle, like he did in 25th TB and 28th TB.

Someone here some pages ago, said they could invite the Gods of other uniserves to see this Tournament. I can't see a better audience than that. It would be beautiful, but it won't happen.
It will still have audience since it has stands.

That'd be neet. People are worried this'll be the last arc and that'd be a way to show off the other gods. I think they'll be like one god showing up and that'll somehow lead to the next arc. Like he notices their saiyan power and sees Piccolo's power and when he hears about ssjgod he remembers namekian god from the nemekian book of legends or something. I really hope that book refrence wasn't random.
Since there's only 5 days of prep for the tournament,do you think the whole whis and beerus preparing piccolo and buu idea people have is dead now? I mean it can still happen, but In a few days it seams VERY unlikely now.

Thanks to the last Super episode, its seems more likely now. Whis just sent Goku/Vegta to a special place, where they can grow up stronger quickly. Kinda like the Time Chamber.
But we still don't know anything about that special place. It may be foreshadowing.

I really do think the Namekian Book of Legends being inserted into the BoG arc was foreshadowing to Piccolo getting a power boost. We also don't know what's up with the "place" that Whis sent Goku and Vegeta, maybe they could go there again and bring Piccolo and Buu to get them stronger.
Whis thinks Goku and Vegeta aren't ready for the place, and they are a lot stronger than Buu and Piccolo. Idk if they'll go there right away. Maybe after the tournament, if they stay training with Whis they could go someday, but not now.

Al 3 posts have valid points, but I still hope the namekian book means piccolo's power up. it should at least be SOMETHING rather then a random line that over hypes fans.

They mentioned Gohan's "potential" regarding the tournament though, so it seems like they have some kind of training in mind. It'll be weird if Piccolo and Buu (or his replacement, if he's still sleeping or something) are sent there while being much weaker than Goku and Vegeta right now and that being "too early" for them, but I think the way the story is progressing suggests that it'll happen.

Super Saiyan Goddesses will beat Goku and Vegeta.
Strongest in U7 will win.
In the event Beerus loses.
Than Goku vs the female saiyan will be the finals or Goku vs the strongest in U7 who switched sides.
Beerus isn't part of the tournament.
Evening lad,
I believe he was referring to team Beerus.
How does everyone feel about perhaps 2 Saiyans that turn out to be on Champa sama's team end up being a female saiyan version of Chichi and another for Bulma? That's probably highly unlikely but I'm imagining it and it seems cool haha.
I want Team Champa to be so likeable they get their own fans who want them to win. With them having the same chance to win as Team Beerus That would spice things up in the fandom
There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of having another tournament or seemingly having a parallel universe, the writing and character interactions feel really Toriyama-ish here (unlike most Super episodes) which is great. I loved seeing Tights, and that little exchange between Goku and Vegeta about their wives was really nice (especially as Toei seem to be obsessed with making Chi-Chi unlikeable). I think Toyotaro is doing a great job with the artwork and really captures Toriyama's style quite nicely (especially compared to his earlier work).
Hopefully it won't be too long until we get to the Universe #6 arc in the Anime! =D
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.
LSSJGODSSJ4Gogeta wrote:Did they say not counting Whis? I didn't see that in the subs I saw.....if so that's another flaw with no streaming. Thanks Toei for great business savy.
What subs? We're talking about the manga, not the anime. Beers says Goku is the second strongest he ever fought and that he'll invite the first to the tounament. Goku asks if that's not Whis and Beers says he's not because Whis can't enter. So, if Goku is number two and there's a number one that is not Whis, who is stronger than Goku and Beers, it's logical to think Whis is stronger than all of them and isn't being counted because he's not entering the tournament.
