It actually says shit? I thought it was just spouting random German.

It also seems like Ghost Nappa is getting a really negative response over on our boards. I'd like everyone to be very assured, Ghost Nappa will not be a major running gag.

As for the toilet, it's saying, "POOP ON MY FACE".

Well, I enjoyed the episode but it wasn't THAT hilarious... but I'm sure the upcoming episodes will kick ass :3
I did like those fake nameks though. I was also hoping to see some of Freeza or Goku... but oh well!

Hehee. You guys should really consider adding subtitles for those kind of parts. I know the whole point is that they don't understand the toilet, but it's funnier when the viewer knows what it's saying, especially when it says stuff like that. :P

If the toilet won't be in the next episode, well, then... nevermind. :o

Comments as I was watching.

Woah, opening music! What is that!
Ok. So... I don't like the opening joke. Just... you know... because.
Krillin's log is cool though!
"Wait, how the hell do you know that it's planet nam--oh."
Vegeta in the infirmary~! XD
This episode kicks ass! :D

I think the mystery makes it way more fun. It's one of those jokes that is funny the first time when you don't understand him and it's EVEN funnier when you understand what their saying later on. It's like the Tool song "Die Eier Von Satan"(only not as dark).
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Got a good kick out of this one and much like last season I suspect momentum will build as we continue. I'd say the filler was handled just about perfectly.

I don't know if I've ever laughed as hard as at that part. XD
Well, maybe episode9... XD

I'm surprised to hear at the negative response to Ghost Nappa. I was expecting him to stick around more and just be annoying, but his tiny "just a reminder" appearance seemed to work out pretty well.

I really like Ghost Nappa. It's fun to see Vegeta being haunted, and hopefully, in the end, it's Ghost Nappa who will make Vegeta to cry when he is destroyed by Freeza, by taunting him and crushing his spirit.

Well, I never watched ATHF, so I didn't really get that joke.

I liked everything that wasn't on Fake Namek with Fake Namekians... I dunno, I just didn't like it

Everything off Fake Namek was gold. And the "penis" reveal was funny, too, but I didn't really like anything else on Fake Namek.

I liked the opening joke, Vegeta, In the spaceship, FINDING Fake Namek, the "penis" joke, the Nail-Guru at the end, Popo, everything BUT Fake Namek... I just feel that it was a goldmine and you dug out the silver... It was good, but not as great as the earlier stuff.

Still liked it though, don't want to seem like a downer.

Also, you all suck :p
worldmonsters wrote::S You want Season 1 again? I heard that they might be going back to redo episode 1, which is fine by me, but wouldn't you rather want to see more of Season 2? If they have to revoice every voice from Season 1 again deliviers might change and then you can all start complaining again.

Give the guys a rest :p let them do what they like. If that is doing Season 1 all over again and revoicing it and doing the effects again... I might say that'd be sort of a waste of time and I don't think the work is worth the outcome, but also I'd give huge respect. In any case :) just relax and enjoy what they make :p
But it would be remastered! THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN!

Oh man, that whole episode was awesome. The fake Namekians were awesome.

One of my favorite parts was the montage with the with the Ocean Dub Dragon Ball theme.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Whew... regarding episode 12... it wasn't one of my favorites, but still good (as about 7-8/10).
So I will try to write down some input (maybe bullsh*t xD). Plus, of course, it's your stuff and like I wrote above, I still liked it very much despite the fact that it was my least favorite episode!!
So don't understand the following as "complaints", it's just meant as constructive critism.

First off, concerning video editing, voice acting, lip synchronization and so on... (all that technical stuff), it was simply perfect - as always. There is no discussion to that :)

Concerning the content, there were some good and some bad scenes IMHO.
The filler scenes with the namekians were too long and didn't really make me laugh... I don't know why, it was sort of repetitive and I guess I didn't get some of the references in the first place...
The scenes that made me laugh as usual however were mainly the Vegeta scenes. So I thought about it and I think I know the reason. While the namekian scenes had quite a lot of references and were mainly "random" stuff, the Vegeta scenes had more of a "real parody to DBZ"...
You know, like when you watched DBZ back then and always asked yourself, why on earth a smart tactician like Vegeta would ever make such a huge and stupid error by accidently transmitting all information about the Dragon Balls to Freeza via his scouter. And then you watch DBZ Abridged with that scene "Who's scouter was-- GODDAMNIT NAPPAA!!!" - this was just hilarious :D
I mean, whoever would have come up with that kind of conclusion to this? xD
Same goes for so many other scenes like Goku running on Snake Way thinking something heroic like "I have to do this, for the sake of the earth and my fami-" and the next thing you see is him sleeping and falling off that car - epic xD
And what's even better, most people could understand these jokes even without knowing DBZ. It was great slapstick and a great parody of the original series the same time.
I think, this changed a little... and episode 12 consists of too much filler for my personal taste.
Personally, I would like it better if you tried to focus more on that kind of humour again like in the earlier episodes...

Well, maybe the release-rate of the episodes is another problem... While I am not affected by this, I know quite some people who are. You know, when the episodes came out like 1 episode/2 weeks, it was more like a series. And a series can have good or bad moments... whatever... people don't care. But if it comes out like 1 episode/2 months, I think there are quite some people who expect something great or special to come and then a average albeit good episode gets worse critism than it would normally get, just because the expectations after such a long wait were too high... at least that's what I believe might be the case of so many "relatively negative comments" about this episode. So don't take it personally if more trolls than usual are bashing your (great) work ;)

All in all, like I said, I liked the episode pretty much, but I liked the old ones better :P
That being said, if you continued to create episodes like the more recent ones, I still wouldn't be upset or ragequit from watching DBZA! It's just that I like the earlier episodes better in relation and I wanted to express, why I do.
I hope everything is understandable, since my english isn't that good and please don't kill me ^^

One thing that you have to understand is that they can't do all the great jokes that we know and love with vegeta and goku because they really aren't in those episodes. Those boring ass fake Nameks are what constitutes most of those episodes in all things considered I think tfs did a pretty good job with what they were given. Once we get to real namke with real nameks,Freezer and company with Vegeta and the ginyu force in tow that's when the real fun will begin! oh and you can't forget Guru. There is plenty of promise there.

Yeah, I could have written about him as well, but there were plenty of good scenes - I couldn't refer to all of them :P
And well, personally, I would have dropped the filler alltogether or make the fake namek part a bit shorter (not as short as the children on the space ship, but shorter than it was)...
But as I said, it's just my opinion and I still think this episode was well done, so it might sound more critical than it is meant... ;)
