Where's Spike the Devilman when you need him most? Am I right or what?

I feel sorry for this Universe Earth, this Kakarot is sexual maniac, and apparently cannibal, it's even worse than Future Trunks timeline.

And then he grows up, joins his brother (who kills the more badass Yamcha ever), assists Vegeta in overthrowing Freeza, and along with the other Saiyans, rule the universe in a sea of blood. Technically not any darker than any other villain-win universe, but still.

And yet the irony in that is if they kill or refuse to mate with other races like humans they'll end up killing off the Saiyan race in the process, because I'm pretty sure if they wanted to become immortal they would have done so by now in their own Universe...unless Kakarot killed Kami and the Namekians off. :P

I actually found it ironic that despite the series only had four Saiyans canonically alive (unless Tarble counts) at the beginning of DBZ they had no restraint in killing each other and dwindling their numbers even more. Kind of hard for Vegeta to be the "Prince of All Saiyans" if he and Goku are the only pure-blooded Saiyans left (unless, again, Tarble counts).

They were already lost. With 4 saiyan males and no female saiyan it's impossible to repopulate their race. Even breeding with humans, each generation would be more and more human and less saiyan. And, anyway, Vegeta never cared about his race, just his title and his pride.

I think that applies to most the Saiyans we were introduced to. I think Bardock and Gine are the only ones who really cared.

Raditz was offended that Goku forgot who he was, and Nappa expected Vegeta to help him when Goku broke his back, instead of knowing that failure meant death. Saiyans seem to have a sense of camaraderie at least. Vegeta however is in his own league of narcissism and self-centeredness..

Fair enough.

...makes me wonder if Kakarot planned to wish for someone to "bear his child?" XD

You aren't the only one who thought that was Oolong dead on the floor, Coola.

Still, Oolong could be a potential victim to Kakarot's appetite in this Universe. XD

But didn't Kakarot try to eat Yamcha?

Anyways, yeah this is kind of spooky. Even more spooky when you realize that Master Roshi hasn't seen enough horror movies because he said suggesting "splitting up."

Kakarot couldn't have eaten that pig, if he did there would have been nothing left of it.

I still think it's Oolong.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Nothing is more evil than a man who wastes food. I personally see it as a contrast to Goku who would eat the entire pig.

I can already tell this chapter is going to really give me feels, especially on the Kuririn front. I hope my heart is ready.

Kakarot bit Oolong thinking it was a tasty pig, but Oolong is really an "animal-type Earthling", not a real pig. So Kakarot didn't finish his meal.

Oolong did say he "tastes awful" in canon.
