If this is a transformation for the sake of having a transformation, I'll just shrug it off.
If they offer a proper reason and background, which makes me invested in it. I'll look at it differently. Although such a color in someone like Black already produces a nice effect, add the "pink guy can now beat Goku into a pulp" and it's likely enough for me to enjoy it. Just for the joke.
Currently, I'm neutral about it. Like with all designs, I'll see if the personality and context for it matches with the character.

Toriyama doesn't plan ahead.
For super he does. He writes the outline all at one time, then it gets transferred to the shows script. He probably finished writing this arc a long time ago

Assuming the pink will happen, it probably is the aura when Black uses his dark ki mixed with either God or SS powers. I think it looks pretty cool. I don't see how people find it silly. It was a pretty badass picture.

I think he's talking about people complaining about something as mundane as hair color.
Dragon Ball /Z/GT/Super is a children's show and there's nothing wrong with that.

I meant the fans reacting to the hair color; "almost" because there's no debates over it.
