An 8-Player Free for all fight would be sweet...but it does seem It'll only allow up to 4 people on a team for now. Maybe a 4-player free for all?

Artdink has put out an eclectic mix of games over the years. They've made extremely hardcore mecha building games like Carnage Heart to deep water simulation games like Aquanaut's Holiday, and everything in between. Their name alone wouldn't be enough to excite me, but they're not a name that would frighten me, haha.

For display on the PlayStation Store entry, perhaps?
Do they do that with Vita games without physical release on the store? I know that PS3 and PSP games get a different sort of "mock" box art.
Vita games are just like the PSP, and PS3 games in that regard. I guess Namco Bandai US wanted to make a mock-up for any person skimming the PR to know they're releasing the Vita version too?
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

I'm surprised Spike didn't think of the Para Brothers for a dance mode on the DBZ Kinect game.

Normal 4v4 (team loses if only one teammates gets KO'd)
Elimination 4v4
Captain 4v4

And juggernaut/survival type modes where the odds are against you.
Free for All
Deathmatch
Team Deathmatch

My favourite for BoZ with 8 players would be Free for All, everyone fighting everyone and then deathmatch. Last man standing. :P

Where on Earth do you people even get these ridiculously-sized 1024x768 craptacular screen shots...?

I probably won't be buying this, but I still have to say that it doesn't really seem very groundbreaking or revolutionary for a Dragonball game. It just seems like Tenkaichi with tagteam, which has already been done before. Game will probably be fun, though.

The boxart looks very unpolished and amateurish. Like something I would see on VGBoxarts.

And I also think it's really lame how almost every Dragonball game we get milks the same story ... over and over again. Can't we get something new?

Based on the trailer it looks like the modded the story mode a bit which is looking pretty cool and now we're able to have 8 players in one battle arena.

Tenkaichi Tag Team is comparable but TTT didn't allow 1 Vs. 2, it was always 2 Vs. 2 and I wanted to play myself against two players/bots but sadly TTT didn't allow that, hopefully BoZ does. BoZ has a lot of potential and I'll be buying it because this is the game I've been wanting for so long!

Have you ever played the game? If no then you don't really have a say about it.

Seeing and playing are two different things, just as is Console Gaming and PC Gaming.

Yeah, why not starting with the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai rather than Raditz's arrival?!

Could've sworn you can do that. I remember playing Survival mode with one character against pairs. It's ill advised, but I'm pretty sure you can.

Ah yes it is possible, here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkSCgkUh790

Still only 1 Vs. 2 isn't really a lot of fun, I'd prefer 1 Vs. 4 or 1 Vs. 7.

In the trailer (in first 30 seconds ) there seems to be an element of free roam. I hope that the free roam is in game as in that while we battle we can roam around instead of during story mode Example uT and bt2

Check the link of the image, and you will find the answer. :P
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Judging by the graphics on the trailer even watched in 1080p, artistically and graphically the game does not look great but there are times it has a nice touch to it (Vegeta's screen).

Image

Gohan's ears are a bit too wide:

Freeza doesn't look entirely bad but seems like they tried to give him a realistic view:

Note: YouTube compressed video quality so this isn't entirely accurate to the actual game.

Also for the picture of graphics. Gohan looks like a deer and Freeza looks like he's...made of clay
