Beerus vs Odin (Marvel)

We've had this discussion at least twice in the last month.

Odin has so many ways of easily dealing with Beerus that it's not even funny. The cat's out of his league here. Raw power means nothing against a guy who can strip you of your power, rip out your soul, manipulate reality and time, will himself to be as strong and fast as he wants, or just create another guy strong enough to handle Beerus while he sits around sipping tea.

Dragon Ball doesn't have anyone who can beat high-tier magic or reality manipulators because they are so focused on who can punch harder or make the biggest laser beam. DB fighters are totally unequipped to deal with more esoteric characters from other series. They just don't have the power set for it. The weakest cosmic entity in Marvel could manhandle Whis effortlessly because of this.

Put Beerus against Thor, or the Surfer, or Thanos. Someone who can't just will him out of existence.

But Odin has been defeated before correct?

Goku loses, that's too much combined might and I think he'd only have a power advantage over Tullece, Slug, and Cold. That still leaves the Cold brothers and android army which would most likely overwhelm him and drain him of his ki.

Makes sense I guess, though Beerus has been stated to be capable of magic tricks but we just don't know to what extent. Depends on how you gauge sealing gods inside swords.

Ah ok. I think he'd get through those he has a power advantage over. Mecha Freeza 100% I don't know now that I think on it...I don't think his cyborg enhancements would grant him a big enough boost to overcome what happened on Namek. Cooler...I'd still say he'd beat Namek Goku. Goku would lose to Gero and 19 because he wouldn't see the ki drain coming till it's too late. I don't remember if 13 through 15 had ki drain...it's been a while since I saw that movie.

Man what did Beerus ever do to you? Unless Beerus actually becomes universal next week, he's probably around herald, maybe transcendent tier at best. Odin is a top of the line skyfather who'd reality warp him out of existence.

Odin is a casual galaxy buster, he is above anyone in the DB series at the moment. Even other skyfather level begins such as Surtur wipe out a galaxy when looking for the Twilight Sword.

He trashes the first two (they're way too slow to touch him), just barely edges out a win against Freeza, beats King Cold (who must've been at least a little weaker than pre-mecha Freeza), Cooler...I think his power comparison to Freeza is a dub-only line? I dunno, the point of the movie could be 'an opponent even stronger than Freeza, but look how strong Goku is now!' in which case Cooler wins, or it could be 'look how strong Super Saiyan is, no enemy can stand against it!' in which case Goku wins.

Just rewatched the fight, and 13-15 give android-arc SSJs much more trouble than I remember. Goku loses.

19 and 20...uh...depends on absorption. If Goku hadn't been sick fighting 19, maybe he'd have been able to pull a Vegeta and all but no-sell everything including the energy drain. So I guess Goku wins against them?

I don't remember if 13 through 15 had ki drain...it's been a while since I saw that movie.
