You mean that fake fan image mirroring what happened on namek?
Didn't know that.

This was before Vegeta went Blue SSJ with Godly energy or whatever it is called now, I guess.
Just seems weird he didn't power up first. Also, was there any indication that the Z-fighters thought Freeza didn't change and were confident to fight him? The second manga that came out made it seem like Gohan and Piccolo were nervous to see Freeza, which I don't like at all. I also wonder if Freeza shows his second and third form.
Yeah, there was. Krillin said that he thought that Frieza was weak at that point.

He almost got Videl killed in Battle of Gods tho.

If you haven't killed Cell, I would choose YOU *insert that image "I choose you"* to destroy Freeza from this new movie. :P

By the way, I still didn't get it. Who was the first to fight Freeza? Was it Goku or Vegeta? Were they in Blue SSJ or they were in base until Freeza transformed into his golden form?
Goku was the only one to fight him in his base form, so far as I can tell from descriptions.

Ohhh alright. And one last question, whose the red guy that gets the upper hand on Piccolo? Piccolo is a Super Namek, stronger than a SSJ1, how does Frieza have a henchman that strong? Unless one trained with frieza during those same months. I hope that's not the guy that knocks out Gohan who should be stronger than a SSJ3.

Just found this:
-Before he goes Golden, Frieza gets his ass kicked
-He goes Gold and starts winning.
-It becomes clear that Golden Frieza has the same weakness as before(he has an issue with stamina fighting at max power)
-Goku tries to take advantage of this but gets beaten by Golden Frieza (though part of it was being caught off guard by Sorbet)
-Vegeta steps in and gives Goku a senzu and then fights Frieza instead.
-Vegeta is winning but then Frieza blows up Earth thus killing Vegeta(Goku survives because he's over hanging out with Whis while watching Vegeta fight and he made a barrier)
-Whis uses his power to go back 3 minutes in time so Goku can finish Frieza off with a Kamehameha before he gets to blow up Earth.
-Jaco is voiced by Natsuki Hanae
-The red-horned guy is another of Sorbet's lieutenants, named Shisami. He gives Piccolo a bit of a hard time until Gohan steps in to finish him off
-Gohan is in mortal danger at some point (he gets better)
-Goku and Vegeta hold hands at some point
-Blue hair is real. It's apparently an effect of going SSJ after you've absorbed Super Saiyan God powers.
-Beerus and Whis eat a strawberry sundae
-Goku wins because he eats a senzu bean
-There is a post credit scene of Sorbet saying that everything went according to plan

Oh, this is interesting, this must be why Ryūsei Nakao said to watch until the very end. I wonder who set all of this up then behind the scenes? Maybe they were just using Freeza to test Goku and Vegeta?

Sorbet is dead. This is a lie. Kei confirmed this.

While (based on what I've read and without having seen the movie myself) there's things I don't like and wish had been done differently, I am SUPER excited to see the character scenes. Piccolo and Pan (OMG ADORABLE!), Goku and Vegeta, etc... The reason I'm a Dragon Ball fan is because I love the characters. DB's main plots have never been brilliant, I'm not a big action fan, and power level discussions make my brain ooze out my ears. But the characters and their lives and relationships with each other is what makes the series, to me, so awesome. It's their uniqueness, their charm, their growth, and their joys and struggles and tragedies that held, and hold, my attention.

I don't understand why some people wish these new movies weren't being made at all. Without new works and new products, the fandom dies. There's only so many times that you can discuss the same episode or plot point or whatever before people get tired of it and move on to something else. It's the new games, comics, movies, TV specials, toys, interviews, etc... that keep the DB fandom alive. That keep the series alive. (Fanworks help keep the fandom alive, as well, but not everybody is into those.)

Even if you don't like this special or that movie (I myself really disliked the new Bardock one), their success fuels future works down the road that you may love.

Pan was not Super Saiyan and she didn't donate her energy. It's "the light of a pure heart" that she gave Goku.

That's a fake rumor. Sorbet gets killed by Freeza's energy ball flicked off by Vegeta. The post credit scene only shows Freeza in Hell.

Does anyone know if the SSJ + God form gives them blue tinted hair, or is completely blue like the SSJG Vegeta fan art?
And do they become skinny like SSJG? I really hope they don't become skinny again.

Dunno about skinny, but blue SSJ's are a thing yes.

Is Freeza in his fourth form during this scene or in his Golden Freeza form?

I know, it's just a running joke I have going on with my friends on how a fetus helped in the ritual  Super Fetus Pan just sounds cooler.

Shisami is also killed by Frieza, right? When and how?
