I believe a new guide book was released. Toyotaro did that chapter explaining when the Pilaf gang made their wish to become young again.

I don't remember any mention of something like this being released. But I do like it. It really should have been in the show and manga itself, but I definitely appreciate this guidebook as something that looks to explain some of our questions.

If this is from a new guidebook, it's interesting. Seems to confirm that the Pilaf Gang's youth wish happened in 766 and that it did indeed turn them into babies.
I'm gonna need translations of these.

At least we finally know how they became young again. It looks like it happen before #17 and #18/Dr. Gero and #19 show up. Pilaf, Shu and Mai most likely kept their adult minds inside of them when they where wish to be younger. When Goku became a kid again in GT, he still had his adult brain inside his kid body.

The one for Super last year was the two pages about Kaio's planet being restored by Muri and Porunga.

Well, how do we treat those special chapters? Does this Pilaf wish chapter count as canon to the Super manga? As far as I can tell from the page with the wish, there's nothing wrong with including it, but... does it?

As I edited into my post, the previous chapter was about Kaio's planet being restored. It was also including in the Super tankobon if I remember correctly. So there's nothing wrong with considering it part of the story Toyotaro is telling.

I still say that when they did the wish they turned into babies which is why in BoG they look like Goten and Trunks' age, still implying that the wish was made around the same time in both timelines.

I think it's the missing "gag" element to Gokû Black. Most of Toriyama's characters have some gag element to them. Gokû Black was straight up super serious. Toriyama probably picked pink to temper some of that.

The real test will be if any characters in-universe acknowledge the pink hair as something funny the way they did Vegeta's Bad Man shirt. Nobody made fun of Gokû's ssjg magenta hair, but that could be because even though it's a shade of pink, it's not pastel like Gokû Black's is.

It's just his character design sheet from BoG. It's green because Toriyama colored him that when making the design for that movie.

He made 18's hair pink, Trunks' hair blue and Pilaf's skin green in BoG.

I like that it happened to have dire consequences not just for the Pilaf Gang, but also for the Z gang, as there would be no next time, as the androids killed Piccolo and therefore Kami, making the DBs stay inactive forever.
