Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
So is the Jaco figure just not going to be released? I was really looking forward to it, and based on the time it was shown at an event with Beerus and SSGSS Vegeta, I felt that the May release would've been Jaco, but I guess it's Whis

I think Jaco will be release one day. He seems to be pretty popular.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
I'm not sure about Jaco. I know he's been showcased, but there has definitely been more mainstream buzz about Super Saiyan 4 Goku. I hope we'll see him eventually, but we've seen quite a few figures be showcased but never released. Most infamously, this happened to Nappa, who, for a while, seemed like a dead-cert.,

Does anyone know if these Lego-style Dragon Ball Z figures ever came out and where I could buy them? http://news.toyark.com/2015/12/28/drago ... 154#images

I believe they're discontinued. Your best shot at finding them is ebay, but the whole set of 8 is around $70 therechaosyoshimage wrote:Does anyone know if these Lego-style Dragon Ball Z figures ever came out and where I could buy them? http://news.toyark.com/2015/12/28/drago ... 154#images

I'm surprised we don't have Lego lines for the franchise, especially since there isn't any shortage of characters to use.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
It's not as easy as that unfortunately. A company like Bandai are more likely to try and make themselves, or sub-license, a copy-cat line than get into bed with Lego and receive only a paltry sum of renumeration. For all we know, the terms of Bandai's license may not even allow such an arrangement.sintzu wrote:I'm surprised we don't have Lego lines for the franchise, especially since there isn't any shortage of characters to use.

New SHF Vegeta

http://tamashii.jp/special/dragonball/?dmode=tpc
Most people are totally angry (like me) that we are getting a renewal version of SSj Vegeta after getting the PC edition of SHF SSj Vegeta. I do admit that I'm surprised it isn't SSj3 Vegeta given the prototype was shown off last year.

Regardless of what it says, that not "Super Saiyan Vegeta". It's "Super Vegeta", aka Grade II. Hence the pose:

Even though I don't want it (or most of the other Figuarts anymore), it's enough of a difference to warrant a release.

Why couldn't they have made a majin Vegeta instead?

Dunno if it's old news or not, but a friend of mine on FB notified me of uh...well, this.

It's another one of those lines. There's a Chi Chi and both versions of Lunch as well, I believe.

That Chi Chi doesn't look too bad (probably because it looks like it's her kid form and not adult her wearing her childhood outfit), but good lord, those Lunches. Did Oda design these figures? That's some Nami-level thin waists going on.

Loli Chichi instead of adult Chichi in the metal bikini... it's like Japan is trying to piss me off.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:It's another one of those lines. There's a Chi Chi and both versions of Lunch as well, I believe.

Damn, all that money I'm going to have to spend on these new figures of the Dragon Ball girls. If only we could get a new animated series with this level of boob.

Have they ever gotten this blatant before?
I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

Your point? I'm saying that want a Chichi figure in the same style as Bulma and 18 Dragon Gals.TheBalishChannel wrote:[SNIP]Scarz wrote:Loli Chichi instead of adult Chichi in the metal bikini... it's like Japan is trying to piss me off.
EDIT: Came off as snarky.
I don't believe so. At least not to this extreme. It seems like they're going for those One Piece proportions.MozillaVulpix wrote:Have they ever gotten this blatant before?
