Yep. BTW, thanks for the advice you've been giving me for my character and such. I'm still tinkering with things here and there, but what you've told me has helped out a lot.

A story that I am actually interested in and that does not spit on GT. Not that Super spits on GT but it does not even seem to be all too close to the End of Z.

Well to be fair we don't know how Super will actually run. For all we know it can have time skips that jump through the movies and such and go past the epilogue of the manga. It's too soon to make conclusions.

But yeah Malik definitely knows how to make an interesting plot.

Are elements from Super being included to NA? Like slice of life chapters, universes, and just random things?

I would guess it would depend on what said content is and how much it affects things, which is why he's not including Resurrection F. Simple stuff like Goten and Goku's farming material doesn't really cause any trouble and could probably be counted without really being addressed or changing anything, but it could be best to ignore Super as a whole because of the issue with trying to deal with the weekly schedule for content reveals.

I know I was going to face those problems: release pacing and the potential for need of constant rewrites. Which is why I just put my project on the back burner. :/

It's throwing a damper on my plans too. Trying to come up with certain points in time to involve Saphi's story without it intersecting with the main series is becoming more and more troublesome.

I don't really see any need to constantly update a fan comic with new material introduced in the official works. As Toei and Toriyama continue to add to the Dragon Ball mythos in the coming years, they'll inevitably render most fan stories incompatible. I'd say the best thing for a fan artist to do is not worry about staying within the evolving continuity and just continue doing their own thing. Fan works will never be part of the official series, so its fair that not all elements of the official series need to be part of a fan work.
Favorite Movies: Alien, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, The Thing, Evil Dead, The Land Before Time
Favorite Shows: Cardcaptor Sakura, Doctor Who, Wallace and Gromit, Wakfu, Yu Yu Hakusho
Favorite Manga: Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, Dragon Ball
Augenis wrote:The power level view into the series has trained a significant portion of the fan base into real life stereotypical members of the Freeza empire, where each and every individual is reduced to a floating number above their heads and any sudden changes to said number are met with shock and confusion.
