Wandered through the kids section at my BnN while cleaning up at the end of the shift; none of the live action movie books are out on the floor (or if they are they're well-hidden). However, Wolverine's kiddie tie-ins were easy to find. (And his movie isn't til May).

Unless any actual marketing steps up soon, I feel like labeling this movie under "productions that FOX has forgotten/neglected to market".

It was weird to hear him say "dragonball."

I call misinterpretation of reincarnation via egg-spitting. They assumed it was a form of cloning.

Piccolo Jr. is called a clone of Piccolo Daimaou a few times in the anime.

Piccolo Jr. is kind of a clone. But a different entity.

I guess technically he is a clone. They're the same person but yet, they are not.

That made no sense AT ALL.

Yeah, I once tried to explain it to my sister once and gave up. Ending it with "They just both..."

Not really, they call him a clone but technically, because of the way the Nameks reproduce, he's his son.

I think the whole Piccolo calling him the reincarnation of Piccolo-Daimao is to strike FEAR into the hearts of the humans and to seem like a biblical bastard.

"Clone" sounds too scientific, I think, though. I prefer "reincarnation" (which Piccolo (I refuse to call him "Jr") refers to himself as).

Is Piccolo Jr. even an official term, or was it coined by FUNimation like the Buu names?

I think it's a FUNification. I've certainly never heard it outside of that capacity.

The closest it gets in the Japanese version is "Ma Junior".
