There isn't any noteworthy information I'm seeing. Goku Black has yet to be revealed and Vegeta takes it upon himself to train Future Trunks. Corrections to this are welcome.

I know it's kinda off-topic, but:
Being excited is one thing, but acting like a 5 year old is a completely different matter.
Adult Goku was never like that in the manga. His excitemend to fight strong opponents and his innocence was portrayed in a subtle way, now he's like a completely different character most of the time.

This isn't new tho. Toriyama has said that they neved got Goku's character right because they made him too heroic. Now they're doing the polar opposite, and with this new wave that shonen main characters need to be goofy and dumb (Luffy, early Naruto, Hinata from Haikyuu, Asta from Black Clover) I can see why they feel like this is the right direction.

Its not just an anime. Watch an American Cartoon like Steven Universe and you will see basically the same thing. Adventure Time is the same.

Except Steven is actually a character with layers an he develops. Goku is nothing like that in Super.

Goku still has development/serious moments. even is Super. Remember ep 43? Remember his final words with Beerus in his fight? Remember when he was talking about pawns with Hit?.

Super's problem is that Goku's characterisation is exagerated, like in ep 53, and as Super has only a few stakes and Goku is pretty strong (like too strong) he seems more naive/dummy than ever.
If Super had more stakes, and Goku's characterisation wasn't exagerated, we wouldn't need to deal With this problem.

At this point there are more people liking the show than hating it, and in that group of haters we still have people that don't accept the japanese cast, so when Super gets dubbed in their language and Goku gets his superman voice it will be miraculously better for them.

Why do you always find the need to bash the dub? Even with the amazing quality Funimation puts out these days people still like to act like its 2001. It baffles me that these comments still happen post Kai over a simple lamguage preference (though it goes both ways)

It happened with BOG and ROF Movies too. Until they get dubbed, they were the worst DB Movies for those people.

I'm normally all for Goku's JP voice, but man episode 53 really grated on my ears. The cringe, when Goku got pulled in the ear by Beerus and got thrown into the air and cried out "Beerus-sama yadda yadda something about how it hurt."
Terrible, terrible, terrible and if Mrs Nozawa makes a habit of that performance, then I'd like to see her replaced.
But so far she has been on point in most episodes, so I hope this was just due to how awfully written Goku was in this episode.

I agree. Sean has the right balance between serious and dumb Goku. Genuinely can't wait to see how he handles some of Super Goku's moments particularly that Pan and Ki troubles episode.

Fwiw I don't mind his Japanese voice but I have crazy respect for Sean Schemmel (hope I spelled that right) in Kai. He has a perfect English voice for his personality.

I agree whole heartedly. Episode 43 was the closest to the "old" Goku we ever got thus far in Super

FortuneSSJ, people are going to hate no matter what. If it's not okay to say anything bad against the sub, then the opposite should be true. I agree with others that Nozawa has usually been good but this episode Goku really got on my last nerves. And idk if it her was her delivery, how he was written, or both. But it was just annoying.

Instead of blaming the voice actor I think the writers and only the writers should be blamed for Gokuu's exaggerated over the top characterization in ep 53.
