Not only that, but Krillin pulls through for us again by saying "We're Screwed". I think that should go along the lines of Dende's "Don't Piss off" line later on.

At least this time they didn't have Krillin doing the Catholic prayer like he did last time. No offense, but that did sound out of place.

Ok, all this swearing in the redub is pointless. Not to mention inconsistent with the rest of the series. Why do they bother going back to fix things if theyr'e just going to change things around even more?

Funi, you are somewhere inbetween gods and devils. So is CN (no YYH? Damn you CN!!!). Of course, they're gods compared to 4Kids... if there not devils, who is?

Ok... what happened yesterday? DBZ didn't come on! Zatch bell came on instead. Is DBZ over?

No, DBZ's redub still has some episodes. They just aired that "Zatch Bell!" special because, well, I don't have a clue. But we can rest assured it's not over, yet.

is there plans to keep showing DBZ after the ultimate uncut episodes are all aired? Is CN just gonna say GoodBye to DBZ as soon as the Ginyu parts begin?

Zatch Bell? Are we talking YTV? If so, then yes, Z is gone for the moment. You'll have to wait for DB to end.

What he means is that the other day, rather than show DBZ, CN showed an hour long Zatch Bell clip show. Though now that I think of it, I heard some guys say that their showing DBZ uncut was kind of CN's way of prepping for Naruto, which was pretty much untouched.

When you say the other day, was this Thursday you mean? I thought I had missed the one on Thursday, but if there wasn't any episode aired anyway, I guess it doesn't matter.

They left Naruto untouched? Including Sexy no Jutsu? And Hokage's smoking? And all that fun stuff? And the voices?! How were the voices?!

(I'm sorry, Mike, but for some godforsaken reason, absolutely nobody on AIM or IRC will tell me about the dub.)

Naruto was basically untouched, and they kept Sexy no Justu. The only edit I saw was the removal of Ebisu's nosebleed in episode 2 (he still falls over backwards but the blood was gone). The voices were pretty good. Didn't notice if the Hokage was smoking or not.

I also didn't notice the smoking, but they left in the pipe. They did the same on Zatch Bell with a cigar and a gun. Also Naruto aired with a TVPG rating, and kept the right pronounciations of Sakura and Sasuke's names.

It's....It's amazing. The Naruto dub is....actually worth watching! I knew for sure it was going to be a bomb. They even left words in like Sensei and Jutsu. Too bad they decided to cut out the nose bleeds. Can't wait until we start getting action figures and stuff like that over here. I've loved this anime for a long time now and dreaded the dub for so long. I guess I really had nothing to worry about.

Apologies, Mike, but it was driving me insane. My sattelite's currently off, so I couldn't watch it, and since Lost picked a horrible time to take a nap in the chat, I needed SOME way to find out how badly my currently favorite anime was killed. Nice to know my fears were unjustified.

Okie, back on topic now. ^^;;;

It seems that Ceyli Delgadillo no longer does Dende as he sounds different. Though I might have to wait for the credits to see whether or not she's listed.

Not a swear, but Krillin just called Vegeta a bastard. And he said "Damn it!"

The Zatch Bell special was shown to:

A. Show what has happened in the first 25 episodes (nearly halfway through the original order for CN)

B. Test the time slot (as with the Miguzi slot and the Sunday slot, which don't usually show Zatch Bell).

Now back to your regularly scheduled DBZU discussion.

The credits went by to fast for me to see whether or not Ms. Delgadillo was listed or not, so I unless someone can confirm it, it seems she no longer does Dende.

Wow! At 9:40pm eastern tomorrow, this thread will be exactly 3 months old, and it wasn't even necro-posted, That's AMAZING! Let's see how long we can keep this thread going strong. I'm also curious as to what the current record for the longest thread is?

And I guess what would be better is if this thread can keep going while staying on-topic... so not much more of posts like this one.
